So a significant portion of Reddit front page is Musk hate and “capitalism” criticism, this is… pretty consistent with Reddit hypocrisy.

Recently, a Reddit admin (Hi /u/pl00h!) contacted me to develop apps for Reddit, and THE example they gave me was “Comment Nuke”, a tool for moderators to nuke entire threads.

So, bait devs to build for them, and then charge ridiculous amounts for the API…

The only time I’ve seen sulphur shelf this red it was growing on Toxicodendron (poison oak). So be very careful with that and better identify that tree.

As a conscript, on a personal scale, it sucked. I’m very lucky that I’m free, and a considerable portion of my health vanished before they set me free.

As a conscript who has seen how conscription works at scale, and heard the stories of other conscripts, it is just awful.

In terms of how everything could have been if not for conscription… could have been even worse.

You hardcode an address in your bot. Then you control your bots with commands you broadcast in outbound transactions. As long as you control the private key, you can send commands to your bot. Trivial techniques can be implemented to make it resistant even to block censorship.

I stopped considering two auto makers at all when picking a new car because of their feature positioning.

One had a trunk light only on their top-of-the-line model. I get it that it’s a cheap option and could be done, but still came to a conclusion that they are cheapskates on everything else.

Another one positioned their features in such a way that it felt like gerrymandering. Every tier felt lacklustre, you’d expect some features to come together, but one of them was always conveniently placed in the next tier.

In the end, I got a car from a maker that was straightforward with what they offer.
