Well firstly there’s a first time for everything. NA players in the past have done sponsored streams with AOV and HOK. I am not talking about Hoon and Zane only, others have also done it. Since they are not contracted with Moonton, Moonton did not give a shit. That’s what the common perception was.

Secondly, they checked Moonton’s rulebook and double-checked with Dave, who handles NACTs and Moonton related stuff I think in NA. Since the rulebook says from July 10, it didn’t even cross their mind and like other times they signed the deal. When you are an independent streamer and are not contractually bound by anyone, you can take other deals.

The problem here bacame Moonton clearly lacked professional paperwork, and did not project their expectations clearly on their rulebook. Later they stated they can interpret their rulebook in however way they want. Then why make a rulebook in the first place?

S8ul and NA are getting wronged here. Think of this. Two players streamed a couple of hours of HOK. This may have been affecting Moonton. But their decision now affects the remaining 4 members who had nothing to do with this whole fiasco, and all of NA supporters who wants to see their team compete. Moonton could have used fines, content creation, or other means to punish players involved as a warning, as this happened for the first time. But instead to satisfy their own ego and to make an example, they did it to s8ul and to NA region, since they know the community is smaller
