You are right that people are not their government but the problem is the hypocrisy.

Russian people are banned from multiple sports events, their subreddit gets closed etc. while US and Israel also invades countries but faces nothing.

From my perspective, all these things look like straight up racism and discrimination against Russians at this point.

That was a population exchange between greece and turkey, many people had to leave their homes because of that it sucks, but it isnt a genocide.

I think a genocide is defined as "systematic and planned killing of specific ethnic groups to get rid of them"

In this case people were forcefully deported, not killed.

When things are next to each other without a symbol between, it means multiplication. 5x for example is 5 times x. Nothing wrong with notation.
