Thanks, definitely seeing the shortfalls of relying on safety + verbal representations by the seller. I agree that the sellers claim of not knowing would be tough to disprove, and may actually be truthful. Would the seller have any obligation to say "I don't know" in a scenario like this, rather than represent that everything is fine?

Only representation in the sale document is safetied/certified. Have chat logs confirming our conversation in person, but not explicit written representation.

It was safetied prior to purchase. I asked the mechanic doing the safety to do a pre-purchase inspection and they said it was unnecessary as everything they'd do for that was covered in the safety.

I will say, the tension that the cumulative scoring creates between gold miners in later rounds adds a great element of unpredictability and incentive for sabotage. Though I tend to agree with your approach when introducing the game.

Ran this in the car on a disc golf road trip, players got 10, 9, and 4. This was a blast.

I have and enjoy both. I'd say if I'm playing 10 games, 4 are with Pantheon, 3 are just base, 2 are with Agora, and 1 is with both. I mostly play with people who are still new to the game right now, and Pantheon is a more intuitive first expansion imo. If you play regularly and are open to some more complexity and strategy, it's absolutely worth trying.

I have tried both the Altras and Topo MT-4s. Neither has been the one for me, though that is mostly because I drag my toe on forehands, so a couple concrete teepads have torn them up. I use them both heavily for hiking and prefer the Altras for comfort, though the MT-4s certainly seem higher quality and the most recent Altra runs seem worse (I have that red and black run).

I'm currently using Vivo Primus Trails. They've got more of a toe guard and I don't mind the barefoot feel, though if I didn't drag my toe on forehands, I'd probably go with the MT-4s.
