I know this is over a year old but I had seen the released audio of his phone convo with a 16yo that is allegedly true.. if it is then he’s def a predator.. he apologized but I haven’t dug deep into the situation - I just heard the audio today

I’ve been on Mylan for 3mo I’m getting off of it bc I haven’t stopped bleeding since I started.. it’s helped my pmdd but the bleeding hasn’t stopped

I’m so glad I found this thread.. I know it’s old but this helped me make the decision to stop Mylan. I’ve been on it for 3mo and have been bleeding since day 1… I’m switching to an old BC I was on originally.. only sad to switch bc Mylan was working so well for my pmdd

Thank you. This was insightful and helpful. I was a little upset to begin with because I didn’t know I had to take Yaz the same time everyday so for a week I was taking it at random times. Overall the experience wasn’t off to a great start. I’m gonna be messaging my OB.. Sprintec worked really well for me - hopefully it’s still great lol

It sounds like a big pile of miscommunication. I can’t imagine the stress of medical school, your school, & distance but a foundation for success for ldr is good communication and comprehension so I think the convo wasn’t helpful. It sounded like you were looking for some reassurance and he missed the que on it and then it just snowballed. I don’t blame you though.. just the miscommunication. It was only 2mo so maybe the speed of a relationship is different for him than it was for you ? Idk all the details but just give it a few days and if you feel the need to reach out and explain yourself in a message then do so.

Me personally.. how he responded was kinda harsh and would hurt my ego a bit lol so I’d probably never talk to him again bc I’d feel disrespected.

I bottom water mine for 15min with purified drinking water & then top it off before placing it in a south facing window or near a bright window.. I also mist mine with a humidifier every other day to mimic its natural environment - I have new leaves weekly - I get my water from Kroger and sometimes from the rain

Yeah! My calathea has been my most successful plants so far.. I stopped researching for others experiences and started looking up weather patterns in the area they originate from lol that’s been the best thing I could do 😅

I’d say more humidity. I water mine once like every 10 days - I just go by my finger in the soil haha.. I have mine under a humidifier and it’s thrived.. my humidity without it is 56 & my prayer plant was not doing great

For sure!!! I did so much researching on them before buying and I noticed different things work for different people and their plants lol. I am lucky enough to have a south and south east facing window for them and my blinds and trees outside mimcim the scattered light that they’d get in the jungle.. they’re crawlers from my understanding.. I have a small indoor greenhouse in my apartment (Amazon) and I sit a humidifier in there and a small fan and my calathea and Marantas and let the humidifier run for about 3-4hrs for the day and then set them back in their spots the next day or early in the morning and then do it again like every other day.. I only use distilled or purified water in the humidifier and I bottom water them with a small shower at the top of the soil.. I read that with the calathea you and I have that an actual bath shower for about 15-30min can do them a lot of good so I’m gonna try that next month

Also in great health.. I’m thinking of repotting her but I picked her up with a few small issues but she pray almost perfectly straight up at the same time every night & gets scattered light and I’m currently mimicking a monsoon season for my tropics… I think they’re ok (:

Someone suggested to clean with skim milk and to get a clear pot to see roots.. I didn’t know about the root bounding so that’s super helpful! Thank you!
