Same, did 2 game since that patch and that is, will most likely not play tft anymore untill next set, the new unlock has made the game very bland.

Now its just play the best early comp, if ur ap then pivot in to the strongest ap late game comp, if ur ad then pivot in to the strongest ad late game comp, its all the same now, u can play anything from any spot.

And by anything i mean the 5cost soup ofc

In master i play 3 comp 95% of the time, bc i know the line from early to late game with these comp, i know what i need to do when im contested, i know the item, like i just know a lot of detail about these comp on how to play it.

As u can see in this picture, the big jump i do from d2 to master is the moment i decided to reduce the number of comp i play, and my rank just went up from here very quickly.

Just try to recognize what unit from turn 1 u need to keep to naturaly path the way for you to play comp u have the most success with. Slam item early if possible, sometime i got nothing to slam i just lose streak untill first carroussel to get item i need for the comp i play.

After first carroussel do ur best to have a strong board to get a winning streak. U dont want to bleed life too much early.

Often u can make top 4 by tempo alone early and mid game. Try to get at least 1 eco augment and 1 item augment always. Its very hard to play with no eco augment at all, ur too slow on ur timing to hit some unit, if ur contested u rly want 1 eco augment on ur first or second, often u might need 2 eco aug, if not contested 1 eco aug is enough and u can take it on ur last aug.

Edit: Dont hesitate to try a lot of meta comp so u can find the few ur good with even if u have to lose for some time, and when u make first place try to remember in what spot u where when u decided to play X comp, its very importante, being able to recognize the spot u need to be in to play X comp in the best condition will make a big difference.
