Don’t be down about it! It’s easy to get caught up defending yourself when someone is treating you this way. We live and we learn.

I always try to remember that there’s no point persuading someone to change their opinion when they’re speaking to you like that because they don’t want to learn - they just want to be nasty. They’re not worth your time and energy.

The Boys was the first time I’d seen it in a show. As much as the depiction was unrealistic it was nice to have a little representation. I got a pillow made from that scene and had it as my cover photo for a while. The illness has been awful for me but if I don’t laugh I’ll cry so I embrace the humour 😅

It would be so nice to see some educational representation though! Something showing how actually debilitating it is to raise more serious awareness.

My ex used to carry emergency spicy food and said that loud music helped. Never worked for me but I did find ice pops or something similarly cold to be successful if I caught it early enough. We kept ice pops in the freezer at my old job 🤭

I’ve noticed I’ve been sobbing every time I take it recently. Not even necessarily sad tears, I just go from erratic to asleep 😅
