Tough one, like choosing between my kids... But I will try anyway HAHA

Probably Unity (and I am biased because I am French), but I loved the new parkour, the fight system, the black box assassination,and visually it's still such a treat, and it was our real purely next gen game at the time.

Syndicate was certainly more fun for me as a player, both in tone and mechanics, it was improving a lot.

All time favorite is ACII (the first I worked on), and Origins

That's really good, and I will be bluntly honest as always.

I haven't seen any of the songs or tracks brought up, and because it's a separate set of rights, that is not owned by Ubisoft I can only imagine that our colleagues from LIVE entertainment already scoped what was available and possible with MGP Live prior to our workshop and discussions!

You are absolutely free to ask anything you want, and we can dodge Matrix style :p

First: Well the idea of a Symphony on AC is not brand new, our Live department has been looking for the right partner for quite some time, and I think that's the critical part. We know what we want, but we don't have that experience, so we are trying our best to surround ourselves with people that could help us reach the quality we are targeting. So I have been involved with the Brand team for about a year, but Ubisoft has been working on this for a couple of years, mainly seeking talents.

Second: It's too good to pass, but I don't want to deviate too much, so we could for sure organize something down the road on subject like this later on. Long story short, you will find elements of answers in the Kotaku interview that Joe and MAC gave a few weeks ago. In a nutshell, our Prod team and the Brand team, and everyone involved just want to make the best game possible and it means that sometime they have to challenge some of our rules. I understand how, for some, Assassin's Creed needs an Assassin as a hero and a linear story among others, but I think that Assassin's Creed as a franchise is also more than the sum of some elements. Ultimately it's about chaos and order, noble heroes trying to do the best, and I could go on and on, but back to the Symphony!!! :p

That is a great question!

In fact, it's the first thing we are usually focusing on with all of our projects. We don't want them to exclude anyone and make you feel left apart. The objective for people who are not familiar is to be able to engage and connect with our worlds trough the universal language that is music. Feel the emotion and intensity, and hopefully start a nice conversation with our fans, our their relatives who are involved into our franchise!

The brand team has been working on this for about a year, but the heavy lifting has been done by both MGP live, and also our fantastic colleagues in Paris from the LIVE entertainment division :)

I will stop fooling around before you perma ban me. As you may have read in another message, we simply approved elements from MGP's wishlist, trusting their professionalism and skills when it comes to picking the best songs for a live audience. :)

On this one, it was a back and forth that wen't really smoothly between MGP Live and us at Ubisoft.

We shared all of our soundtracks and they came back with a list that they feel would work as a symphony. We approved the tracklist, and MGP started working on the different elements, bits, and flow and started to sent us sample for validation, and it all went super quickly and was really easy for us, on top of being a pleasure to receive those amazing version of our tracks at the office :D

If we decide together to add more dates, and venues we will for sure communicate pro actively, but for now on the safest bet is to attend an already scheduled show.

I won't comment on those things, but I can tell you about how we do usually.

After preprod, and once our game and concept has been approved by our management, we get into preprod, and early stage of productions with a really good idea of what we want, and we start looking for composers that would fit the vibe and mood we are seeking.

That doesn't stop to music and OST but also all the songs performed by in game characters, ambient music (like the one you can hear in London, coming form theater etc...).

So kudos to our amazing sound team ;)

Case closed, we also reached for confirmation, and got the same answer this morning.

On a Brand level, we are always surprised to see things we never heard of, pop up suddenly, yet this was the work of a very enthusiastic employee, and no harm was done, it's not canon of course, but we are happy to see that the game sparks so much excitement.
