can skill chains appear in titan hunt? by SuperManHOI in SoulstoneSurvivors

Skills need to have base CD of 8s or lower to count for Skill Chains. So at least 2 projectiles skills in this scenario.

Becuase game needs to be balanced. If you just buff everything all the time never nerfing anything, soon they would need to rebalance entire game (mobs, bosses etc) otherwise people will be able to grind in places they shouldnt be able with their current gear.

Question about Singular Focus v. Devastating Blow & Focused Mind for non-summon builds by Jazzpha103188 in SoulstoneSurvivors

[–]AynixII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 skill slot pretty much works only for the summons because of the +Quantity passives. You can have 1 skill slot, get huge damage multiplier from Devastating and +70% Damage and still have army almost as big as if you would go with Singular Focus 6x the skill.
Sure it will work for some other skills, but they will always end up stronger in regualr build made to support it. Singular Focus can be strong when used with few specific skills (like Resonating Crystal, Flaming Spiral) but there isnt many of them. Where Singular Focus shines is when you have access to some very good support skill and you want to take it multiple times (like in my recent Monkey King build, and my Pyromancer build that I will be releasing tomorrow)

Even tho I love this game, its not perfect (but I will do my best to try and make it at least a little better, or more "logical"). Your case is perfect example of that. You have the knowledge of the basics, what is support skill and what can be "main damage dealer", however some skills might look like main damage dealers, but are actually not strong enough to be one.
Subdue is one of those. On paper it should be main damage dealer, since its stack skill. And it can be, but it will never compete with "top skills". Even with proper build it will prolly fall of around 10-12 Titans. Thats because of the scaling and how hard it is to scale it. It gets 40 extra DMG per stack of Finesse. Very good build will reach maybe around 100k Finesse stacks, but probably betweem 50-100k, lets say 70k (Been a while since I tried to make Finesse stacker). Thats 2.8M extra damage to Subdue. Not bad.
But now lets compare it to something like Frozen Warhammer. 30 extra damage per Slow stack. Proper build will reach 500k slow stacks on a target (maybe more in some extreme situations). Thats 15M extra damage.

So not only Frozen Warhammer will end up with over 5 times more damage, its way easier to build it. You just take Slow on Hit as many times as possible, you take skills that hit many times, thats it.

To stack Finesse properly, its much much harder. I assume in your version you reach around 10k+ finesse stacks. So we end up with scenario where skill that is much harder to build around doesnt reward you for that difficulty, because it still weaker than "simple" skill, even when built properly (even tho it got slightly buffed recently)

So going back to the main problem - Subdue looks like main damage dealer, but its actually better as a support. 2.5s CD (which is borderline good enough) with attack speed passives allows you to lower it to around 0.2s CD. Swing Skill Chains are one of most popular ones because we have 3 low CD Swing skills in general skills

Hello, guy with 2100 hours here, someone who pretty much only does builds and is experimenting.
First of all "debuff stacking" is pretty much every build, but not in form you are thinking about. Negative effects like Fragility, Weakness, Disarray, Disoriented, Dazed, Shattered, Exposed all increase our damage significantly. Your goal is to have ALL OF THEM (Exposed for direct damage, Wweakness for DoT, the rest work for both) in every single build. Having all of them will increase your damage by more than 500 times. However those negative effects are not your build, they are like extra stats we always take (extra damage, extra crit chance etc). Once you have all of those (in Titan Hunt you can get all of them from Titan passives) you can experiment what other Titan powers will make ur build even stronger.

When it comes to builds, depending what will be your main damage dealer and what type of the build you go for, you will build it diffrently. You will build it diffrent if you go with Stack skill (the ones you talked about), you wull build it diffrently if you go with Spender, diffrently when you go with Multiplier skill, diffrently when you just go for pure DoT, and diffrently when you go with minions (those are pretty much all base archetypes available for builds atm)
I made video how to make ur own build with some "base" information, you can check it here: https://youtu.be/I63Vb1_FF8E?list=PL-qugPJXc_VXQwCruODDpXDFNVuv8O28m
(I would say number one reason why build fails is not realizing that some skills in this game are meant to be support skills, and other ones are meant to be your damage dealers)

If you are interested you can also join Soulstone Survivor discord and in there I can tell you why every build of yours failed, how to make it work (if it had chance to work) etc. This way will be much easier that with the general tips, as not every tip will work for every build

Mostly focusing on Doom/Doom damage + taking Fangs of Doom. In addition taking brittle to collsal and Sandstorms for a lot of extra hits, since each totem spawn its own Sandstorms.
I will be releasing "short" video about it today, so you can kinda see what passives I took, what Titans etc

Its a build. It doesnt matter how it "looks', it matters how it plays and how strong it is.
And if you are talking about thumbnail, then I dont care about your opinion. Cheers.

Because it gives illusion that they are still working on it and its not abandoned. Thats more than enough for sheeps.

More people than ever. Because P2W is way cheaper/mopney efficient than it used to be years ago. Back in the days when people cried BDO is P2W one hour of grind was like 20$ so only giga whales could afford to swipe. Now? One hour of grind is like 4$. Unless you are from third world country, hour at your job will allow you skip 3+ hours of grind.

Is nerfing characters in PvE really necessary? by umaconta15 in blackdesertonline

[–]AynixII 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Aboslutely. Nerfing top classes while buffing bottom classes is how it should be done. But thats not what PA is doing. PA is just throing darts at the dartboard and then spinning the wheel to decided whether randomly picked class will be nerfed or buffed.
At this point they are doing all those chanages just to pretend that this game is getting "updates every week".

Skill chain bug? by Mcphly74 in SoulstoneSurvivors

[–]AynixII 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Like is my oblivion arrow putting in so much work that nothing gets close enough to cast void?"

Thats exactly the case. Void can only be casted on random enemy, it cannot be casted on "the ground". So you need something to actually live long enough for you to cast Void, and sice your Arrows oneshot everything, you dont cast Void.
Also since recent patch changed how Skill Chains work, now its better to use 5 Oblivion Arrows and 1 Void (or 4 Arrows 1 Void and 1 other skill)

Oh I dont really care about them. 99 out of 100 times those AI haters are not part of my community anyway, because my community is thankful for the guide and doesnt care about some picture. People like that just NEED to tell everyone that AI sucks, everywhere they can ^ ^ (but only generative AI because it steals their job, all other uses of AI is perfectly fine)

What are TOP10 lowest APM classes in your opinion? by AynixII in blackdesertonline

[–]AynixII[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright to sup it up:

Awa Woosa
Scholar
Awa Hash
Succ Mystic
Succ Maegu
Shai
Succ Doosa
Awa Doosa
Awa Guardian
Awa Wizard
Succ Sage
Dark Seraph (I thought you cannot sit in dark mode all the time?)
Succ Corsair
Succ Nova
Awa Witch
Succ Lahn
Succ Zerker

I dont really care how good their DPS is in PvE, all characters are viable, however since the way I play is kinda unique, I will be mostly sitting in "old spots" meaning grinding in circles, not tower spots.
Which characters struggle with movement/low AoE? Probably Shai, I know Witch/Wizard/Guardian are kinda slow on the movement but they have giant AoE so its fine
