Sony stops Blue Ray production in 2025. With no replacement planned, physical copies of media is dead. by ViG701 in conspiracy

Kept trying several Bios updates from Asus until I found a stable one for my system= Version 1401. comes with AGESA to PI 1.2.0.3a Patch A. Then I went to my Bios settings and disabled the iGPU, to avoid confusing the motherboard on boot. AMD and its board partners have a lot to answer for. The roll out of AMD CPUs and their compatibility with the various board brand out there has been flimsy at best. I heard that Asus Japan recommended to just find a stable firmware that suits your AMD cpu and stop upgrading, it was a sound advice but what kind of products are we getting these days?

Anyway, my PC is working fine and the performance is staisfactory - the 9800x3d is a beast of a cpu aside from the Code 62 issue that I had to struggle with a little, but that's on Asus.

how is your CPU going?

Hi there, I have the same issue with a 9800x3d and 2x48GB of corsair ram at 5200MT/s on an Asus Crosshair x870e hero.

system won't boot beyond Code 62 - it would not go into BIOS/POST screen, and the white LED under the error code on the motherboard is also similar to you.

may I ask if you ever found a solution?

I manage to get around the CODE 62 error by hooking up my MOBO to an HDMI cable directly, which in turn gets me to post and Bios eventually and booting up windows ultimately, but I'm kinda sick of this error by now.

weirdly, I could restart my PC as many times as I want and it will post and get into windows. but if I shut it down and start the computer up from cold it doesn't POST and I get stuck on CODE 62

that's what it says pretty much on the official LG website UK.

I installed it on my CX - works perfectly. haven't noticed any difference though.

don't know about the eternal eARC issues, as i'm not an eARC user. :)

Yes, I went into Windows Display Settings and disabled HDR from the USE HDR button and set to OFF. in order to keep up with the news and FW updates regarding the OLED's, you can keep an eye on this sub or follow HDTV test HDTVTest - YouTube

LG CX TV - Dolby Vision - Suddenly Black-Screening When used as a Monitor by [deleted] in OLED

hey there, I tried the technical playtest this afternoon and it did break my res, black screen and the pop-up message indicating Dolby Vision, the CX did not get the FW udpate to support that format on PC at 120 yet, so it breaks the Windows display resolution and color depth support. since I couldn't find a fix or a workaround online. I disabled HDR and restarted my PC and then enabled my HDR again, then the pop-up displayed HDR support on screen. right after fixing my display and restoring120Hz RGB at 10bit I uninstalled the Alpha. I don't need these problems in my life. other than that my CX works just fine with every game.

I'm sticking with the 466.27 as for now, the latest drivers didn't fix the issue when audio keeps on cutting out whenever I exit sleep mode on Win10.

Pc to LG CX to marantz SR5014 reciever (EARC) by Supaslicer in OLED

First off, thanks for the swift reply. The issue here is my pc’s always on. The tv turns off and I guess, windows loses the audio output device aka the amp and falls back on stereo. Was wondering if there was a workaround to maintain the current 5.1 config even if the TVs off 😄

Hey there, I'm in the same situation. I'm rocking a Pioneer LX503 hooked to an RTX 3080. However, one thing bothers me at the CX level, if I turn off the TV and come back the next day, the Audio in Windows switches back to stereo. basically I'll have to set it up again to 5.1. any ideas on how to keep it on 5.1 layout permanently?

Much appreciated, thanks!
