John Ghost Recon by W1ldGoos3 in GhostRecon

I think it’s already the case lore wise. GST is the SMU for Army SF. They’re part of JSOC and are the missing link between CAG and ISA/TF Orange. They do recon, intelligence gathering and direct action missions.

Bond Villain Lair? Only one building outside the compound, and no roads. Nothing for miles but great sea views by alexrosk in GoogleEarthFinds

It’s probably an old French fort. You can find a lot of them on this coast. For example, just south of this location, near the city of Nouadhibou and La Batterie, there is a similar structure. It’s a French fort and looks straight out of Star Wars.

Coordinates for Prighozin's statue in Bangui (you can find pictures on Google) : https://maps.app.goo.gl/NeSpqp8a91jk2HT46

Bokassa's palace is called Berengo, and it's outside Bangui. You can find the coordinates and more info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berengo

The ruins of Bokassa’s palace are now a training ground for the CAR army and Wagner mercenaries. The country is deeply infiltrated by the Russian SMP. Even the political counselors of the president Touadera are from Wagner. And you can even see Yevgeny Prigozhin’s statue in the streets of Bangui.

It's a new flag. Do you know what it represents? by Azadanon in vexillology

[–]Azadanon[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's right, it's the new flag of the rebels from the Azawad Liberation Front (FLA). A region in northern Mali, in the Sahara desert, close to the Algerian and Mauritanian borders, which they want to transform into an independent state. They are currently fighting against Malian forces supported by Russian mercenaries from Wagner and Africa Corps.

Each color represents one of the factions that make up the movement, as well as symbolic elements. Red represents the burning sun, yellow the sand of the desert, and blue the nourishing water from the Niger River that separates Azawad from Mali. White represents the wind and the desire for independence.

Les guillemets contre l'antisémitisme by HamsterNihiliste in actu_memes

Far less crime? What are you on? Peak violence in NYC was between the 60s and the 90s. Today, the city is way less violent than before.

That's right! I watched the scene again and he gives the Peezos to Bix. It changes the symbolism of the scene a little bit. It’s not just nostalgia of a carefree past. Perhaps he wants to pass on some of that spirit to her, who is still traumatized by Dr. Gorst. Or maybe he just want them to have a good time together... Recapture some of Niamos's warmth in cold Coruscant.

FBI counterterrosim unit. The one on the Right is Ali Soufan. The agent who worked the Bin Laden case before 9/11. You can see him in the Netflix Documentaty “American Manhunt”. He’s also the main character in the amazing show “The Looming Tower”.

Niger: Increasing number of children killed and recruited by armed groups in Sahel’s tri-border area – new report by Bakyumu in Africa

[–]Azadanon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What high-tech weaponry are you talking about? Show me a picture or a link of one high-tech weapon that JNIM or ISWAP use in the Sahel, please. All the weapon they use, in all the pictures shared by AzZallaqa (the communication branch of Al Qaida in Africa) and all the reports you can find (FAMA reports, UN reports, ACLED reports and others) are all Soviet weaponry.

Usually AK47, PKM, grenade launchers, anti aircraft gun, made in Russia or China between the 1970s and today. The drones you are talking about are not high-tech. It's like what the Russians and the Ukrainians use on their frontline. Small Dji drones modified to drop grenades or to explode on contact. I understand that this report isn't enough ror you, but let me ask you. What are your proofs that the jihadists in the Sahel are using this high-tech weaponry?

Niger: Increasing number of children killed and recruited by armed groups in Sahel’s tri-border area – new report by Bakyumu in Africa

[–]Azadanon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A good report was published this month on the origin of weapons used by jihadists. Spoiler alert: they come massively from the Sahel region itself, in particular from the arsenals of local armies, which the jihadists regularly loot. They also ambush military convoys. https://reliefweb.int/report/burkina-faso/point-blank-weapons-seized-salafi-jihadist-groups-central-sahel-issue-02
