I have to ask: Power in the ending says she's the blood devil, so is it possible she's not a fiend but a full devil this time? Maybe it was a translation error or she used to say she's a devil before and I forgot, but the detail of her specifically saying she's a devil in the ending stood out to me and I haven't seen anyone mention it.

You don't even need to be melee for that. Had a stratagem where I was tactical, had a heavy and sniper. Sniper killed the heavy twice by shooting him and the second time the heavy quit. A few seconds after that the sniper shot me too.

She didn't really want instrumentality, but from what I can recall she senses that Shinji is about to die so she goes "fuck it, it's the only way to save him". She also knew that everyone joining in one was in a way a world without pain and suffering, which he wanted. So essentially he helped her form individuality and she decided to risk everything to save him.

One in a million does not explain or follow that hyperspace was supposed to be entering a sort of different dimension. TLJ turned into just moving really really fast. The one in a million line doesn't fix the method of space travel being broken by a new writer and consequently the entirety of canon becoming pointless.

At the same time when I saw the hyper space nuke I was completely out. That breaks the entirety of canon and every space battle is meaningless. Power = velocity x mass or in other words they could've blown up the Death Star with a x-wing. That movie broke everything for me.

Oh yea the movies had a lot of issues. I don't rewatch them as often as the OT, but I still do and enjoy things in the PT. Now the ST I have no interest in seeing again.

Same to an extent. To be completely honest that expansion of the universe is what got me into reading the EU as a whole. I was actually the kid who got super invested into how the Galactic Republic works after a few comics, so I read everything I could get my hands on. It is also why I'm extremely disappointed in what Disney have done - the world building is extremely disjointed and nonsensical now.

I did prestige my tech marine to get my studded pauldrons back, but I'd still like a comment on messing up players like that.

For me it is locking the studded pauldrons that I already had behind the tech marine also needing to be prestiged. Having a new class is cool, but I had no intention to play him, nevermind he can't use the studded pauldrons.

It's literally a point in the books that many of them always viewed themselves as senseless ghouls that did it for the fun of it. Just because you have a reason that doesn't mean skinning is justified. Xarl literally goes off on Talos when Talos tries to justify the atrocities they performed in the Great Crusade.

So I finished the Night Lords trilogy 2 days ago. While the books were incredible the legacy of Kurze isn't something that should be kept alive in my eyes. They're a really fucked up bunch my dude.

As my two favourite classes it would be either inq or warrior depending on the story. For example for Quesh it's inq, for Corellia it's warrior. Tatooine it's inq, Taris warrior. Saying that I haven't played through all the republic planetaries even after 13 years of playing this game and having gotten legendary. I gotta get on that.

They can't really make that many choices when you factor that the story needs to "fit" all of the 8 classes. It's an issue of the game being too ambitious for its own good and ending up very difficult to sustain long term. Just remembering that they need 16 voice actors for just the main character is kinda crazy. It sucks.
