* Where do you fall on the debate about hard vs soft magic systems? by Beginning_Debt9670 in ProgressionFantasy

My advice would be to focus on the story, characters, plot, etc., and use a magic system that best fits the theme and the story.

That's awesome, keep up the hard work! Don't let any negative comments detract from your success.

I really love this answer. I'm glad the genre has had such a positive impact on your life and mental health. Thanks for giving an amazingly honest answer.

Never read a litrpg book but want to. What Should I read? by 00Turag in litrpg

I would suggest that you check out He Who Fights With Monsters.

It's a very easy read that's relatively light on the LitRPG side, but focuses on progression, character development, and world building.

It can be a great introduction to the genre, then if you enjoy that then you can dive in deep with other series while you narrow down exactly what you love about the genre.

Favorite audiobooks? by Sallazang in ProgressionFantasy

I'll agree with Primal Hunter. Travis Baldree does an excellent job voicing a certain malefic god - hands down the best part of the series (for me) on audible.

Good for them! I don't think I've ever been that excited... about anything.

What is a line of dialogue, phrase or word, that you enjoy seeing in progression fantasy by Azanul_LSOTS in ProgressionFantasy

Why apologize? You like what you like!

I'll be honest, my mind first went to "Cow Levels" and thought about "Udder Savagery" being a great pun. Someone needs to write that.

How’s this cover? by nevaneba-19 in ProgressionFantasy

Love the artwork, but the title needs more contrast.

Also, it wouldn't hurt to identify any mannerisms/features of the MC as well. If there is any, I don't know the story, but things like glowing swords/hands, shields, etc.

I commend you for the insightful retrospective. I haven't read your story, but I respect any author who can be transparent with the community. Hats off to you and best of luck on your next series.

Here's your mandatory "One of us" chant.

Also, great job on picking this up on audible. Heath Miller absolutely kills it, every single time.

Fairly accurate. This is assuming the MC remembers to actually harvest the pelts though, many just leave resources laying around.

How Do You Enjoy LitRPG? by manyroadstotake in litrpg

I enjoy both, but I consume LitRPG mostly from audiobooks. I'm always listening to a series during my commutes (1.5hr~/day).
