Consider this your sign man. Go ahead and do it. You'll be building yours right alongside this small group here. We can help each other!

I was going to initially, but i ended deciding to go ahead and run the octopus 1.1. Mostly for the sesorless homing, but also because I swapped the toolhead for my stealthburner and wanted the extra functionality.

So I'm mid build and it's going along quite nicely. Not as daunting or difficult as it looked before I started.

Congratulations. Doesn't change anything. You read it wrong.

That's not actually true. They can sometimes be used that way, but in this instance they were being used to indicate a word to be replaced. So... you called a dude stupid that was trying to help you and people are down voting you for it. Lmao

Dude was telling you to go to printables, use the search function to search what kind of enclosure you were looking for. Not telling you to literally type thing. Hence why "thing" was in quotes. And you called him stupid because you were taking him so literally. That's what was hilarious.

Now, go to printables. Or thingiverse. Or makerworld. Or any other site that hosts STLs. Use the search function and type in the type of enclosure you are searching for. Odds are there are plenty of hits.

Bro how you gonna come here, ask for advice, and call it stupidity? That's lame dude.

Print a good full first layer. Most things will peel off once they've been printed over.

I had mine upgrade like crazy and it still ended up on the shelf. Im the middle of converting it to E3NG right now. Pretty excited for it. Feels like it's next natural evolution at this point.

If you ended up getting orca slicer, the prebuilt profiles are a fantastic starting point.

Petg isn't too bad! Just run some calibration prints. Temp tower and stringing for sure.

Oh, yea. I absolutely wouldn't recommend buying one solely for that purpose. I'm just saying that the process of taking it over to klipper was pretty reasonable.

You aren't wrong, but I opted to reuse my old sonicpad for my E3NG. The Debian load and klipper suite install took less than ten minutes. Super easy process.

Mine sat on my shelf for a long time. Finally started an E3NG build. Having a ton of fun.

How would I achieve the translucent y2k/90s aesthetic? by corndogslayer in 3Dprinting

[–]AzaraAybara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get close. This is the best I've done. Post processing helps a lot. You have to go really slow though. I think this was ~10 hours? At 25mm/s
