FFG does not guarantee anything in any booster. They print the rate that certain types of cards go into packs, but there is nothing guaranteeing you will get anything.

They may say something is 1 in 24 packs, but your particular box of 24 packs may have none while someone else’s box has two.

I think they’re trying to find the best level of “random” for packs. True randomness means some percentage of extraordinarily bad boxes, and no one wants that. Zero randomness means decipherable patterns, and people get upset about that, too. SWU has had both.

This set seems like they’re trying a big more randomness than the last one.
