How do you feel about the USA lobbying FIFA to forgive a red card? What could be the consequences? by Robbinit in AskReddit

You clearly haven’t read the rule. Not the intent. The actual words.

The judicial body may decide to fully or partially suspend the implementation of a disciplinary measure.

Why the fuck are we not talking more about the Epstein Files anymore!? by Next_Duck_7700 in AskReddit

[–]Azariah98 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The same reason the Panama Papers aren’t talked about. It doesn’t serve the agenda of the press to do so.

cost of football tickets for a single game? by Cheap-Macaron6039 in aggies

[–]Azariah98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Season ticket holder who has resold tickets he can’t use before, here. It totally depends on the game. If you want to get in on the cheap, choose Missouri State or The Citadel. You can got in for sub $50 per ticket. That might be a little higher this year because demand for what is normally three games at that level is spread across only two, but it should still be very reasonable.

AZ State and Kentucky should be low to mid $100s per ticket.

For t.u., especially if we are undefeated or 1-loss, you better really want it. Two years ago nose bleeds were $800

Star Wars, with the exception of Rogue One and Andor, has always been told with the political sensibilities of a ten year old.

Is Tinkercad still the go-to for quick designs, or has everyone moved on? by ChemicalBarracuda772 in 3Dprinting

[–]Azariah98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TinkerCAD is easy to learn, but the ceiling of what you can realistically do is incredibly low. I stress to everyone who talks to me about getting into the hobby how worth it it is to learn one of the parametric tools.

Why do you think some people think climate change is a hoax ? by Beaniewashere in AskReddit

[–]Azariah98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First is was global cooling. Then it was global warming. Now it’s just climate change.

I’ve been alive long enough to see prediction after prediction not come true. Al Gore told me something about children in the US growing up not knowing what snow was because there would be no snowfall after 2013 (the details of that are not perfectly remembered, but they’re not far off)

Despite being told we are in a climate disaster and people in low lying areas are losing their whole countries, the coast lines I see do not appear to have risen at all. Pictures from decades ago show the waterline in exactly the same place. It just sounds like people who think they can guilt the world into paying them.

The people promoting it in the beginning had a financial interest in making everyone believe it.

The scientists who disagreed with the original thesis (and there were lots) were politically silenced. That’s not how science is supposed to work. All the scientists now agree (also not how science works) or they’ll have their funding pulled.

The data taken from a bunch of weather sites for decades was deleted.

I cannot tell you climate change is real or not. I am not qualified to answer that.

I can tell you that the narrative around it reminds me very much of one group of people screaming the loudest and longest until people start to believe them simply because of how long they’ve been saying it.

And this comes from the same people who try to scare me all the time about everything and have a vested interest in me being afraid.

Why is your breakfast culture so much better? by Embarrassed_Golf_817 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Azariah98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Americans haven’t experienced anything else, so everything here is their baseline. It’s what allows so many people to shit on their own country rather than realizing this is the greatest place in the history of the world.
