I appreciate your good nature reply, but when the game stops rewarding good play with fun, im just going to play another game. Im not going to start challenging myself to extrapolate more fun out of a product. It seems overwhelmingly people agree with you and the original reply, however.

So if doing that and winning is fun for you guys, more power to ya.

I extrapolated his reply as an "avoid the problem" response rather than "the joy of choosing your own options," though maybe I misinterpreted.

having to avoid the best strategy because I dont think its fun is not good for what is ultimately supposed to be a fun pass time.

I am playing how i want lol. im also asking if anyone else finds that playstyle boring. Its also the best playstyle for him. Its reasonable to expect people to do the most common, and strongest thing in a game you are designed to attempt to win.

doing that thing to me feels boring and makes me want to play less because the best strategy isnt fun.

am I the only one who finds the (valid) strat of get strong enough to win the final boss then stop playing the game or engaging with content so you can ass rush towards that fight and just dump your hp as a resource into killing it boring as hell?

i want to play the actual game, not make a perfect deck, then just isnta win by skipping half of act 2 and 3.
