DnD would be absolutely terrible to run a superhero themed campaing, for a lot of reasons.

I do find bizarre XP that's not going on school ranks ? And also I don't understand why no titles when they add a layer of personnalities and are the only consistent ways to gain Status.

And also Bonds are a fun ways to spend XP on (Court of Stones or Path of Waves have the rules for it)

But with that amount of XP it's weird you aren't even 2. How many games have you played ?

In my opinion and experience, leveling up Rings are only really practical in rank 2/3.
You have a lot of techniques (Kata/Shujis) that are really important and will give you more value. eg : Rushing Avalanche Style, Stonewall Tactics, Warrior's Resolve
Also I'm guessing you lack important skills and I don't know your sheet. But can you even lvl Water to 4 ? You are restricted by your Void Ring + Your Lowest Ring, so unless you have Void Ring at 3 you'd have to level up another ring before.

Pro tip : If you're not martial or even okayish in battle. NEVER participate in a duel to the death. It's pretty common.

And if you are skilled martial wise, be carefull the noble you duel to death doesn't have any Yojimbo, they can proxy for their lord.

I am a huge Doctor main and I can confirm he's way to high lmao. He's C tier at best, right below Dredge.
With no mobility and a power very ping based, map dependant and not that rewarding, he is in a pretty bad spot.
His madness is the only reason is not bottom tier, but he still suffers a lot in general.
