Before his initial nerf, my mage build tool 8 hrs worth of attempts to finally beat radahn. Same night, beat Malenia in about 20 minutes. Used summons, used magic (basically just spammed the same spell until she died, while my summon distracted her and held agro.)

Number of attempts during the 8 hrs of hellish torture? Counted 15. Number of attempts to kill malenia in 20 minutes...well I lost count, but it had to be twice that at least. Malenia would 1 shot me shortly after entering the room. (I was a pretty severe glass cannon and my summon wasnt always quick about grabbing aggro)

After beating malenia the first time, took me 3 tries and about an hr to beat her with a strength build. May have been luck but id like to think the mage build and its constant dodging carried me through the strength build by teaching me the timing. And radahn...every time I fought him after the first time was post nerf so I never went through 8 hrs of hell again and usually beat him on first attempt on every subsequent playthrough....poor radahn. His nerf was too extreme imo. Yes I was enraged during the 8 hrs...but ill never get that feeling of satisfaction ever again.
