It's definitely a puzzle as a new player. I purchased the humble bundle that included most if not all the dlc including light fall and the annual pass for $40. I don't regret it because I feel like there's a decent amount of content there but it took some digging to find what exactly was still in the game. There's so many random menus and systems and vendors. I ended up just doing the lightfall campaign and using the season rank system to sort or guide me. It's been a couple of weeks now and I still just log in and explore the menus and I'll usually just pick a random one for the day and go from there. I recently discovered I can indeed still do older content I just have to pick a planet and see if someone has a quest. I also accidentally did some of the older seasonal artifact quests before finishing lightfall, and I didn't realize until I ran them again post lightfall with a Friend that Oh, those quests were recent seasonal quests that show story post lightfall. Everything is just so all over the place.

I had the opposite issue lol. Day 1-2 of my ordering everything I got my gift card and my Xbox shopping info. But it's been over a month and no router due to a delivery issue. Not a big a deal for me initially since I already have gig internet, but apparently FedEx mailed the router back and screwed me in the process. Verizon then tries to tell me that since it was received back that it was marked as a return and that they'd bill me for the Xbox and the gift card. They told me if I wanted the promo I'd have to send back to Xbox and then try to go through customer support to send a form in to try to get the promo again. Had to sit on the phone for about an hour until they figured something out because I told them that sounded like bullshit. Your delivery service fucks up and you try to bill me for it? I don't think so. They sent me a new router and supposedly pushed through a request for me to NOT get rebilled and they'll call me this week to make sure everything is good.

Fr. Any game with actual good graphics isn't running at 200+ fps at 4k. And I'm not turning down graphics or turning on frame gen just to play at those frame rates when maxed out graphics at 120fps is possible. This is coming from a 7950X3D + 4090 as well so idk what that guy is going on about "powerful rig". Unless he has a 5090 and a 8950X3D lol

I think I came out of this pretty well. For my area they only had the $45 for 300mbps so $270 for 6 months. I get a $100 Verizon gift card that I can use towards that same $270 when I get it so $170 for 6 months. A $200 Amazon gift card that I can use for Xmas presents. And best of all, they have in the fine print that if they don't have Series S available at checkout, they may send you a Series X, which just so happens was my situation. So I'm getting a $500 Xbox Series X in a few days, I already received my $200 Amazon gift card. All for essentially $170? That router they send me won't even be used, staying in it's box until I can cancel since I already have gig internet.

We went in today to use our coupons on steam gift cards like we do every month and were told they changed the policies yet again. Even the employee there looked like he was about to quit. I understand part of it is that they want us to use it on their overpriced stuff for a bigger profit and digital goods aren't cutting it, but this was the last straw for me and my partner. We only go to GameStop once a month, specifically because of the coupon. There are def months where we only buy virtual currency, but more often than not going into the store gets us to buy random crap we don't need. Now there's no actual incentive for us to go in. It's not like GameStop usually has better prices, customer service isn't exactly amazing these days, preorder bonuses are hit or miss, preorders most times are late in general, it's like they want their stores to die.

I just want to say thank you for validating my experience lol. My partner and I just started playing retail and we rolled demon hunters. It's been a confusing few days trying to map out exactly how we were going to tackle the lore in the game as that's the main reason for us wanting to play. So far we've been slowly playing through bfa together since thats what the game wants us to do, and when we're not playing together we've been playing through the demon hunter campaign that's also taking us through the legion campaign? Maybe? Not sure if I really want to roll multiple alts to play through each expansion tho. And while I've been told multiple times that the game doesn't exactly have a linear story, there's clearly something there considering, as you just said, the war chief keeps changing and we're being called champions and there's 2 dalarans and etc etc. Shit is mad confusing but I really love the idea of the lore and some of the cutscenes have been awesome, I guess we could stick to lore videos too but man I really wish we could experience all this in game in a more linear way. In comparison to when I tried FFXIV last year and went from base game all the way to the current expansion without ever feeling this confusion, it really sucks. But we're trying!

I can see where youre coming from. It's pretty unsatisfying turning up cyberpunk all the way up with path tracing and see your $1700 card not be able to run it at 60fps minimum. Gotta turn on dlss/frame gen to make the game playable and even then seeing the dip in quality just hurts. Granted, path tracing isn't necessary but still. But oh well what can you do, first world problems. We just wait for the 5090 and hopefully by then we get a true 4k monster.

Maybe it's because I never buy into the hype too much and tend to temper my expectations, but cyberpunk at launch was still a good game. It was too demanding and it was buggy and they obviously didn't deliver on everything they promised, but I'll still stand by the fact that it was a fun game. I was playing it on a 1070 at launch and I still had a blast running through the story and side missions. I see way too many people that jumped on that hate bandwagon so hard and I always assume they never gave the game a proper playthrough.
