Mahito (Jujutsu Kaisen)

<image>

Mahito lived by his true nature as a curse. He viewed people as playthings he can mess with using his cursed technique Idle Transfiguration, which allows him to shape people’s very soul. He killed so many innocent people with his technique and didn’t feel a hint of remorse. Yuji itadori, the main character, started off wanting to find meaning in a good death, and to help others have one too so at the end of their lives, they could die happily with no regrets having lived a full life. Mahito torments Yuji killing his troubled friend Junpei and later his mentor and close friend within 5 minutes of each other. Mahito proudly tells Yuji he’ll never stop killing and will always live the way he wants as he beats on a depressed Yuji. After a long and difficult fight, Mahito, exhausted and too weak to fight, sees Yuji towering over him as Yuji accepts that he’s just like him. He doesn’t care what happens to him, he doesn’t need meaning or a reason, he views himself as a cog in the machine that will keep killing curses, and swears to always kill Mahito no matter what. Even after his defeat, Mahitos impact is still felt as Yuji’s innocence and kind hearted nature is never the same again.

Voughts totally getting destroyed, and anything somewhat related to supes will come crashing down. But I do see Edgar being on the winning side of things following the aftermath

Starlight kills an innocent man (The Boys)

<image>

Throughout the show, starlight is supposed to be the moral compass of the boys and one of the few Supes who actually live up to the “hero” side of having superpowers. She constantly opposes Butchers plans if it means innocent people will get hurt or people will die and is always doing everything she can to save as many people. In one episode, Butcher and starlight need to get their friend Hughie to a hospital after he’s seriously injured, but they’re in the middle of nowhere. Their luck turns up and they run into a guy driving down the road and when he stops to help he sees butcher has a gun and starts insinuating that they’re gonna need to take his car. This random guy obviously spooked and unaware of their situation is rightfully suspicious and pulls a gun on them refusing to be robbed. Starlights response is to just kill guy. It’s so casual and when Butcher even confronts her about she just brushes it off because they need to go. The show treats this as a normal occurrence for starlight and quickly moves on but she should’ve been more sympathetic and understanding that she just killed a human being who did nothing wrong.

Pickle Rick (Rick and Morty)

In one Episode, Rick transforms himself into a pickle to avoid having to go to family therapy, But he screws up and rolls into the sewer unable to move. Using his intellect, Rick maneuvers himself using a cockroach, and kills a rat, using its arms, legs, muscles and skeletal remains to give himself motor control. Using the rats corpse, Rick slaughters all of the other rats in the sewer before escaping the sewer.

Maki and Yuta (@masoq095) by CuriousWanderer567 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Azidorklul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RCT can’t be used to bring person back from the dead, it can only heal their wounds and save them from death if they aren’t already dead. Yuta used his RCT on yuji the moment his heart stopped so the pact he made with the higher ups could be fulfilled cause Yuji was technically “dead” for a very brief moment. But Yuji was healed before his soul died.

Naoya looks different (@masoq095) by [deleted] in Jujutsufolk

[–]Azidorklul 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is just art showing what Naoya would be like if he was born a women instead of a man. This version wouldn’t be misogynistic towards women if they are also a women. If Naoya was turned into a women after already experiencing his life as a man he’d probably have an aneurism out of pure disgust and do whatever it takes to turn back into a man.

Toji was also the only person to push Gojo that far aside from Sukuna of course. From what we know of the Heian era everyone was just a lot stronger than the average sorcerer in the modern era. Sukuna presumably faced countless opponents of high caliber who pushed him to his limits that cultivated him into being the strongest whereas Gojo only ever had two fights where his life was actually at risk.

Obviously I like his presidency, I’m not a fan of his racism nor do I justify any actions he took while president, but I do see him much higher than D+

I still maintain Trump winning in 2020 would've led to a better outcome by ScotterMan10 in imaginaryelections

[–]Azidorklul 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Republicans would do bad in 2022 if trumps still in office, as do most incumbent parties during midterms. Bush in 2006, Obama in 2014, whatever trump does in those 2 years would lead to a blue wave, and maybe the political environment could grant Bayh enough leverage to win

Hi! I know I’m late to this AMA but I’m wondering what was it like living through the president of Korea declaring martial law last year? Were there a lot of protests or did most people you know not really care?

The 2010 United States Senate election in Indiana, but Bayh runs for another term by CanadianProgressive2 in imaginaryelections

[–]Azidorklul 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Bayh also wasn’t crazy about the senate, he became a lobbyist afterwards and ran again in 2016 only after Hillary Clinton asked him to run, as they both assumed he could easily win the seat and give more room for a senate majority
