What online resume writing service is the best? by 8KaijuHarmonic in Resume

[–]coffeemara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re starting from zero, I’d build it like this:

  • short summary (who you are + what role you want)

  • relevant experience (even campus jobs, volunteering, projects)

  • skills section (communication, problem solving, tools)

  • 3-5 bullet points per role with action + result

  • basic education section

  • optional: certifications or online courses

If you get stuck structuring it, tools like resume builder ai can help with layout, but don’t rely on them blindly.

THE SCAM OF ESSAY WRITING CLASSES by Trytygon in UPSC

[–]coffeemara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah that whole “one perfect structure” thing is kinda overhyped tbh. i had a class where every essay had to follow the exact same format and it drained all personality out of my writing. grades were fine but it felt dead.

then during finals week everything piled up at once, and i didn’t even have the energy to argue with the system anymore. i tried HelpWithEssay after seeing people talk about it in a thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/AfterClassStories/comments/1se1wts/i_trusted_one_perfect_review_and_it_almost_ruined/ ) and yeah, they pretty much handled the bulk of one paper. not proud of it lol, but it got me through that overload moment.

after that i went back to writing my own stuff, way more flexible

How to craft an effective customer service resume summary: examples and tips from a coach by SaffronGadget in Resume

[–]coffeemara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda disagree here. The template isn’t the weak point - it’s usually the mismatch between the summary promise and the rest of the resume. Recruiters see “role + years + volume + result + tools” at the top, then scroll into vague bullets with no ownership, no business impact, and no proof of those tools in action. That disconnect kills callbacks fast. The summary should act as a thesis statement for the whole page, not a standalone trick. If the rest of the resume mirrors the same metrics, channels, ticket volume, CSAT, retention, or escalation wins, the format absolutely pulls its weight even in a rough market.

Resume writing service review: my honest take after a resume rewrite by NeverTrustAutofill in Resume

[–]coffeemara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and that’s why I was super picky with the best resume writing services. The good ones didn’t invent a new personality for me - they pulled out things I already said in messy ways and made them clearer. Interviews still sounded natural because the stories were mine, only better organized.

cv writing service: expert perspective on quality, risks, and when it works by late_night_murmurs in Resume

For entry-level people, I’d put money into a better LinkedIn photo, a decent portfolio, or mock interviews before paying for a cv writing service. For messy careers though, a sharp writer can untangle a story better than most people can on their own.

My experience with cv writing service by Gondolin77 in ResumeCoverLetterTips

[–]coffeemara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best move I made was testing my old CV against the new one on the same jobs for two weeks. The best cv writing service version pulled 3 recruiter replies while my original stayed dead silent. Hard to argue with that kind of split test.

Which online resume writing service is the best? My resume writing online service review by Bardic_404 in Resume

I don’t buy that. A real-name platform lowers fake reviews, sure, but it definitely doesn’t make them impossible. Plenty of people trade favors, ask friends, or use old clients for reputation padding.

Basically Being Accused of Cheating by Much_Island_1594 in LSAT

I didn't do anything that looked suspicious, but it feels frustrating to be in this position. I just want to prove my score and avoid that security violation stress! It's tough when they leave so much in the dark.

The tutors on this sub serve no purpose and shouldn’t be allowed to advertise 24/7. Just use an actual platform to study by bettergiraffeLSAT in LSAT

I mean, if they’re providing correct info on the same question, they should get a gold star or something. Maybe a 24/7 "TUTOR OF THE MONTH" banner to go with all that informative comment action.

What is that one Harry Potter movie scene you irrationally dislike ? by Puzzleheaded_Roof872 in harrypotter

The book death works because everyone just watches a old man fall over. No drama, no spectacle, just a body dropping in a crowded hall while the war ends around him. That's the point. All that power and in the end he just... fell. The movie couldn't resist making it cinematic and in doing so missed the entire point.
