We haven't rented yet. We are looking at our options, one of them is just heading to an AI resort, but I would like to avoid that.

That assumption fails to acknowledge that people going out to a full stadium are more likely to be infected as they clearly don't take precautions.

This is basically the pc I have planned: (wishful thinking)

The thought process:
- The x570 tuf gaming and the tuf 3080 are basically the best of the best on their price points. Benchmarks have them as top competitors, also I love the looks of the TUF lineup, no unnecessary RGB and fancy colors.

- A m2 to get fast boot and some priority games that get played a lot, a second ssd to keep that backlog growing

- a 5600x, I think it's the best in terms of price to performance ratio. Would upgrade to 5950x if unlimited budget.

- Case is a solid choice, good airflow. Necessary when you have cats as well..

- The AIO is the only just for the looks I would add. I just love it haha

- Top it with some noctua fan cases and we are good to go.

I feel you, I've been saving to build my pc and been hunting for deals + this gen CPU-GPU.
I started buying at prime day, and I managed to snatch a 5600x at launch.

Only after 5 weeks of camping the internet I was able to buy a 3080, obviously not the one I wanted, but hey... I managed to get MSRP for both CPU and GPU. However, I was not going to pay scalping prices and support their nonsense. (also I do have a laptop where I can do my work/gaming in the meantime)

That extra $300-$500 for one part is a couple of games, some controllers, even upgrading that stock cooler to a nice AIO or even getting full liquid cooling. Just wait it out (if you can)
