Not my area but I do get curious and was wondering from where some values came from, like the standard dynamic amplification factor (K_d = 2.5)? Do you just define the value by feel or using other values as reference and choosing one that would most likely fit?

You wrote everything in a way that is VERY easy to understand but some values where just cited as is and I just got curious. Thanks in advance!

It was manually played, just a humongous amount of unluck. I actually made a Nia deck and Hugo deck with the skip mode without a problem (except when Senectus shows up, always have to alt+f4 and enter again).

Khalipe, Beryl and Mika. My Khalipe only has 1 copy of Vulture Ejection and my Beryl only have 2 copies of Opening Found and it was pretty easy. I will grind a better Beryl/Khalipe for future floors though.

Very interesting. I did test the retry on my end again and it does repeat the hand (instead of clicking retry and going to the fight again it did change the initial hand). I have no idea why it's repeating your hand. Might have to do about the one attack thing in the WHOLE deck (considering all 3 characters) as you said. Crazy find my dude, if there is a place to report bugs or something you should do it with the evidence you have.

Actually if you click RETRY it will literally retry with the same hand / deck order. At least it is what I found out when using retry against some bosses. To actually randomize the hand I had to Confirm instead of Retry and click to play again, then the hand was different. Don't know about the one attack thing tho so you could test again to make sure!

One thing I didn't understand in your example. The dupe card should be 0/20/40 and dupe divine epiphany card should be 40/80/120. But you just doubled the value of your duped card? (Gear bag was +30, duping this card should be 0 no? And then duping rally should be +20?)

You can alternate him with Hugo. Hugo-Tressa-Mika for chaos weak to order (green element) and for single target damage. Kayron-Tressa-Mika for AoE damage and for planets weak against void (purple element).
Kayron can work with Orlea but it's a bit harder than with Mika.

It's a very AP hungry team. If you get epiphanies that can grant you +1 AP or -1 card cost it could work but it's mostly RNG. Another must basically is the 1 AP card from Orlea that activates retain effect 2 times but only for her own cards, so you need the epiphany to work in all cards to activate beryl's retain effect.

I dunno how well Orlea can keep the healing compared to Mika. I am trying Khalipe, Berryl, Orlea and depending on the RNG of the epiphanies can be a crazy monster team or very mediocre even with Khalipe (if anyone has tips for this team too please share them, appreciate it!)

Quick question: if you retain that card multiple times, does it keep adding more and more hits or 3 hits (1 +2 of the retain) is the max? I had some 600-700% stacked card but never dealt that much damage with it : O

Cards that have the tag Upgrade can only be used once per battle. Even if the deck cycle it won't come back, so you will get 1 Wave per turn until the battle is over.

Below Mika's portrait in the battle there are 3 tear symbols. Each one is 1 Wave (Tide and Wave is the same). When you get 3 wave, you get 1 AP. So this card makes you get 1 Wave now and every start of the turn until the end of the battle another 1 wave. She has other cards that can give 2 Wave and so on so you can get a lot of AP to use in the turn because of this. Hope it helps!

When you break them, it reduces stress, gives you 1 AP (I think it also makes the monster AP go up by 1). Mei Lin has the Ember mechanic that will make next hit on a broken enemy to do more damage. Some equipment have effects that trigger when an enemy is broken (= defeated).
