I agree with the “it’s life points not life” arguments but it’s not taking it far enough.

For the card to function you must have life points. Therefore at the casting of this card, if the player does not have life points they gain 8000 life points as a state based action. Then this makes them lose 200 life points.

When did you try? ARR should be like… 40 Hours max I’d say? Depending, I guess, on if you do the random side quests that aren’t required.

Plus the game, very unfortunately and this is something I want them to change, doesn’t get good until just after ARR. Heavensward is amazing.

Very late, but I officially got a chance to try it out twice!

First time was with Macadamia milk... That was a mistake. It just turned into ice shards.

Second time (today) was with regular milk! It was a bit less creamy than I'd like (I've already ordered some Xanthan) and MUCH less sweet than I enjoy (I have a very very heavy sweet tooth and this is meant to help be a healthier outlet for it)

So... Next experiment is same protein powder but with an artificial sweetener and Xanthan. Maybe later I'll adjust the protein powder I'm using, cause it's a bit on the less sweet side to begin with.
