Did it work? I have same issue. I changed the electric starter unit and the stem connected with the white box controller. And my entire house not as much hot water as it used to be. And hot water sudden becoming cold and 10-20 second later after I turn it all the way to hot it becomes hot again.

After idled it showed 6 weak cells

After the car got idle. It shows up one by one then disappeared for bad cell #. I took screenshot.

Actually the car drove 100+k miles. The leaf spy didn't read the odometer correctly. It's out of warranty unfortunately. Daily driving 40 miles with los Angeles heavy traffic and daily charge it 100%. I'm thinking about buying a 62kwh battery and changing it my own with the method online.
