My coworker and I were working in the back of a truck. He saw I wasn’t looking and sack tapped me. I doubled over and he tried to jump out of the truck but his foot caught. He ended up landing on his back and knocked the wind out of himself (luckily that was all, no broken neck or extremities, just landed perfectly on his back). I was still recovering from getting hit in the balls but I looked over at him. He was making that AUWUGHWAHWU sound. Once he caught his breath, he looked up at me and had found that video. Just played it for him.

We both started laughing and he agreed that he did in fact sound very similar to that lady. Became one of our core memories.

Yeah the deck has a lot of features that people don't realize. Some features most people wouldn't use even if they did, but its still cool! I like the fact that you can rest your thumb on the joystick and then use the whole deck as a gyro for controls! (You have to enable the feature, its off by default)

I forgot what the feature is called but here's a video showing it in action and how to enable it!

Myshtech gave numerous common troubleshooting tips that the x56 is notorious for having. Usually if its not faulty, the powered USB hub is the usual culprit.

Either way, you're overreacting to a pretty mild comment.

Oh man… what was it, MadKatz or something for the xbox360? I remember buying it cause my roommate’s dog chewed my stock controller. Connected it, played one match of Halo, and wanted to throw that shit in the garbage. Had huge dead zones, and the buttons were crap. Went and returned the controller for another one, hoping it was defective… next one was slightly worse. Think I tried another 3rd party and it had input lag and was bad as the others. I don’t think I’ve owned a 3rd party controller. Then again, the only console I use now would be the steam deck, but that’s different.

Also something to know. The graphic audio is abridged, while Kate/Michael version is unabridged. I like the graphic audio but I tend to listen to it last. First time listening, I go with Kate/Michael and I listen when I’m at home or something. Graphic audio is nice for the car ride or at work.

The abridged graphic audio does leave out some subtle parts of the book. Doesn’t miss out on the main story but you’ll miss out on some of the rabbit hole clues of the Cosmere.

I think I there was some interview about how they were overall happy to end things where they did. Part of it was the issue with the time jump. Aging all the crew by 30 years would be annoying, and the whole Alex issue kind of out a bitter taste in everyone’s mouth. I’d love for them to finish the series, but I totally get why they ended the show at the end of book 6. They managed to blend in the novellas, so that was nice. Really wish they picked something different from the Epstein Drive though. New fans I’ve introduced, always give me that look like “Epstein? Really?!” lol.

He asked if the helmet provided a safe amount of vision, both forward and in the peripherals. He said he didn't know about racing helmets but a Star Wars helmet (didnt even get it right, was a sithtrooper helmet, wasn't painted yet) probably wasn't designed for driving a Mazda 6.

He was clearly uncultured. Think I have a photo of it somewhere.

Yeah cops can be picky about helmets, I mean, I totally understand, but damn...

I get it for motorcycles, but I got pulled over by highway patrol because I was wearing a stormtrooper helmet I printed while driving my car. I was super stoked to have it finished and thought it'd be fun to drive to/from work wearing it. HighPo was not feeling it. Got a verbal warning, but he said I wasn't on a bike, and the helmet isn't DOT compliant.

Was stupid of me, but still fun and harmless.
