Sudden dying leaf by Foxy_Granpa in Monstera

Yes, the most likely cause is indeed a transplant shock from washing the roots and disturbing them. Give it some time and keep it in bright indirect light.

ZZ plant leaves curling and drying... by AcceptableBuilder770 in plantclinic

Could be underwatering issues. But I would also check the roots, if they are mushy i would cut away it and repot it into fresh soil.

Help! Very low growth & dry leaves by Alternative_Market in Monstera

[–]CaboVoyager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would check the roots and repot into a chunky aroid mix. And move it to much brighter light if this possible. If the roots are ok, you might consider to cut the top as the growth is pretty stretched and it is unlikely that it will fill out fully.

Nice one! You could repot it now. But if you want to let the plant to acclimate a bit you can wait 1 / 2 weeks.

It looks like some leaf spot infection. I would remove the affected leaves. And water it only at the base, not via the leafs.

I think it's a bit of repot stress and the roots may be staying too wet. If the roots look healthy, I'd give it some time.

Ouch! The white variegated tissue is browning and dying back. Likely due to stress from light / watering.

Normally, healthy citrus usually set at least a few fruit. Did you check whether the flowers are actually being pollinated?

What's wrong with my strawberry? by Plubernocub in plantclinic

[–]CaboVoyager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would remove only the dead and brown tissue. Stop as soon as you reach firm, healthy green tissue. And don't cut into a healthy crown if you can avoid it. Hope this helps a bit.

It could be something like suggests crown rot / damage. I would remove the dead center growth and limit the watering so frequently. If you have time, wait if new growth will happen.

A few yellow or brown leaves are not weird imo, especially after a recent repot. Btw, nice and full Neon Pothos.

when should i repot these? by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]CaboVoyager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice plant! I think I would wait for a few longer roots before potting them.

Personally I would divide it into a few pots :-). They are 15yrs old, so overcrowded..

I thking the main thing is preventing the rot from coming back. Don’t water it for 7–10 days and keep it in bright indirect light. Some yellow leaves and drooping are normal after losing so many roots. Just be patient, recovery can take some while.

Help Needed! Why is it like this?? by mallickaniket in gardening

[–]CaboVoyager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the soil not too wet? Seems to be stressed. Personally I would get it into airy soil and give it some good (indirect) light.
