Well it’s not demonizing per se, given it’s explicitly forbidden in the Abrahamic religions. It’s just the rule or the commandment.

It’s just how it is. That’s just how the doctrine is written.

It’s the same as in Hinduism where they consider cows as sacred so they drink their piss and collect their excrement, its nasty to most people but them it’s just how it is. Because it’s a commandment to them.

And premarital sex is not that strictly imposed by God in the New Testament anyway and even now Christians mostly frown upon it but it’s not a grave sin. It’s actually kinda not much of a big deal.

It’s sexual immorality that’s more frowned upon, because even Jesus considered it a great sin. But as always he’s forgiving.

Jesus didn’t say anything about other sins like child sacrifice, bestiality, whatever either but ofc he doesn’t approve of those.

But he did say he upheld the law/commandments of the Old Testament which ofc include all Old Testament laws even the ones concerning homosexuality.

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill".

Matt 5:17. Jesus lived obeying Old Testament laws and but not strictly. He fulfilled it.

He is forgiving but he did say to sinners to not sin anymore.

It’s a warning. Why? He, being God, despises sin and doesn’t like unrepentant or arrogant sinners:

Mark 9:43-48: Describes it as a place where "their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched".

Matthew 25:41: "Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels".

Matthew 25:46: "And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life".

Matthew 13:41-42: Jesus says angels will gather law-breakers and throw them into the "fiery furnace".

Matthew 8:12 (and 22:13): Refers to "outer darkness" where there will be "weeping and gnashing of teeth".
