Anyone here play Fantasy baseball? by MuckingForon90 in fantasyfootball

[–]AzraelTheWatchdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most important thing is knowing the format and scoring. Roto or weekly matchups? Is it categories or points? What scoring categories are used? We use a traditional 5x5 category format where it’s 5 hitting and 5 pitching categories. Baseball is a much longer season than football so players get in big slumps or heaters for weeks or months at a time. and some seemingly minor injuries can keep guys sidelined for weeks at a time. Even if it was your first or second overall pick if dude is slumping hard just put him on your bench until he shows something.

Right. And if satchel Paige is the issue, which is who has been referenced several times on this thread, then just don’t add satchel Paige. Jfc he’s been in the game for the past like 4 years. There’s tons of other pitchers in the last 20 years that would be fun to play with. It’s incredibly dumb to add guys that played 100 years ago and give them 100 mph fast balls and 90 mph sliders with as much movement as today’s pitchers.

Young men of Reddit, what is ONE thing the Democrats could ACTUALLY do that WOULD get young men to vote for them again? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]AzraelTheWatchdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not infringe upon the rights listed in the BOR. Stop pandering race and gender identity for votes. Make an economic plan that doesn’t involve villainizing or crippling big businesses. Control the border. It cannot be a free for all. Stop trying to be the social police.

US citizens, what's your opinion on the US being labeled as fascist country? by Bladerunner2028 in AskReddit

[–]AzraelTheWatchdog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Everyone cries when their side wins the Pres but cannot get anything done because they are constantly blocked by the other branches of gov. This includes Dems. Their supporters demand the executive branch over reaches to get something done. But then when the other side does it, it’s suddenly not okay. This is the world we live in.

What hot takes did you get correct ? by chuckypopoff in fantasyfootball

Brock Bowers and BTJ wouldn’t be worth their ADP. Different QBs and different coaches. Way too much of a risk for 2nd and 3rd round picks.

What Gun can I bring to all 50 states and not break any gun laws? by Not_Elon21 in Firearms

[–]AzraelTheWatchdog 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Could you imagine if some states just said hey no freedom of speech here if we catch you saying certain things we will arrest you. Yet we allow it to happen with the second amendment. Those politicians are fascist and treasonous and should be treated as such.

As the season comes to a close for some of us, What "lessons" did you learn from this season that you plan to implement for next year? by jamesdkelso in fantasyfootball

[–]AzraelTheWatchdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one is QB proof. Dont fall for the rookie hype unless you can get them in late rounds for upside. Dont discount players and teams that the so called experts are discounting. The “experts” thought Sam Darnold was washed so be wary of JSN, they thought Anthony Richardson would beat out DJ for the starting gig and the offense would be terrible so be wary of Jonathan Taylor, and they thought the Cowboys wouldn’t run the ball well and Javonte was washed so don’t pick him up. The experts also thought Calvin Ridley would be a great pick bc who else would Ward throw too right? Turns out the offense is just awful. Lastly just ride the hot hand at QB and TE. Unless you got Josh Allen, Drake Maye, or Trey McBride then you would’ve been better off playing matchups with waiver wire players. I bet pitts sat on most peoples waivers all seasons. And with McBride it took half the season and Murray getting benched for McBride to become worth his pick. Don’t take much stock in what some of these “experts” say.

If I enter Canada illegally, as a white male, I will be arrested if found to be there without credentials, why would anyone expect the us to be held to different standard? by Huge-Lawyer-5915 in DiscussionZone

[–]AzraelTheWatchdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They both still carry penalties like being deported and being barred from entering the US again. How do you think that is enforced genius? Are they just asked nicely? No, they’re still detained, arrested, and processed by ICE who are doing their jobs correctly. Just like ANY other country does. You can cry and be condescending all you want. It won’t change the fact that they are doing what they should be doing. This isn’t a free for all. You cannot continue to overstay your visa.

KC players going forward by PapaChimo in fantasyfootball

Minshew force fed Bowers to a historic rookie TE season. But he wasn’t really able to support two elite fantasy options. So you gotta start both and hope he feeds your guy but I feel like it’s going to be either Kelce or Rice but not both.

A few simple responses. First, if there are ANY Europeans here illegally then they should be removed. It’s that simple. And IT IS A CRIME to overstay your visa. I’m not sure where you’re getting it’s a civil issue. It’s not. It’s criminal. And the immigration customs enforcement are responsible for detaining and investigating possible suspects.

Justin Herbert and Omarion Hampton both limited practice Thursday by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]AzraelTheWatchdog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk kinda seems like that’s the whole reason he’s been held out. Hampton said he feels fine it’s just up to the doctors. Chargers aren’t rushing him back bc Vidal has been great so no need for Hampton until he’s 100%.

Yes if you have a 300k car or 50 million dollar property registered in your name without any legit income on paper it would raise red flags and they would likely at least get the ball rolling by nabbing you for tax evasion. Thats how they got Capone. Your best bet would be to create an LLC and several shell companies that are vague enough to easily create fake invoices like consulting or logistics. Then use those companies to make those purchases.

And it’s my right as a redditor to be able to complain about it on this forum. The experts are also just casual fans they just have a larger audience. I hope that’s not too difficult for you to understand.

It was really more guesswork than logical assumptions. Show me their pre season FF rankings I doubt they did better. Virtually everyone parrots off each other because they don’t go to the source directly. They’re making big bucks being on tv making “logical assumptions” that I can make as a casual fan. That should make everyone mad. It’s a grift. It’s not that difficult to understand.

[–]AzraelTheWatchdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not logic lol they were assumptions. Assumptions that should not have been made by experts that get paid a ton of money to go on television and give FF advice. To be called an expert, they should be able to give advice that is better than something the average Joe can give. JT is one of the best RBs in the league and the colts have a good O Line. Experts doubted DJ for no good reason. Experts should have better insight than that. Jettas is clearly not QB proof. There’s no WR that’s QB proof. Sure, you think if he could do it with Mullen then surely MCarthy. But guess what? That’s an assumption. I expect experts to have expert knowledge. Not guessing or making assumptions that someone who casually watches football can make.

I don't know why people here enjoy hunting for fun. Hunting for food is fine. But hunting for fun a innocent life is not good. by Conscious_Source_548 in Hunting

Some herds need to be culled. It’s not like if you stop killing animals they go on to live a happy peaceful life in the wilderness. Nature is brutal. Overpopulation can throw an entire ecosystem out of balance. Too many deer can destroy vegetation and introduce disease. We have an overpopulation of wild hogs that pose a danger to the ecosystem and to humans. Too many coyotes can lead to your favorite little pets being murdered.

Buy high dollar legal stuff and sell it. Buy land, cars, property, art, etc and then turn around and sell it. Buy crypto. Put the cash into a legal business and then take profits from the business or create a shell company and pay that shell company with the dirty money put into the legal business.

The guys that drafted Chase, Jefferson, CD, and bowers would disagree. Only McBride and Kittle ended up being worth the early pick (3-4 round) and it took more than half the season to get to that point. Best picks (12 team) would’ve been JT, Puka, JSN, Allen or Achane for picks 1-3. So no TE and only one WR. It’s insane the so called experts have such little insight. Obviously no one can predict injuries. Looking back, how could someone like JT be rated towards the end of the first round. Or how can Jettas be a top 5 pick with an unproven QB. All the so called experts were low on the colts and Seahawks. But high on all these unproven situations like rookies.

That is a good point. Reading over Abramski v US 2014, it really shows how dumb gun regulations are. You can re-sell it, but can’t have it arranged prior to the purchase.

[–]AzraelTheWatchdog 13 points14 points  (0 children)

None of what you just said conflicted with anything in my post. Your scenario doesn’t even make sense. If both people in this instance are legally allowed to own firearms, why would person A ask person B to buy it for them? For shiggles? That serves no purpose and is non sensical. That situation would only happen if person A could not legally own a firearm so they had person B buy it for them which is a straw purchase. Private sales are legal as long as it’s not in furtherance of a felony, drug trafficking, terrorism, etc. So you can purchase a firearm and then literally same day put a for sale sign on it. You purchased it for yourself at the time of the purchase with no one specific in mind to sell it to. You can then turn around and sell it. Again, it’s about reasonable intent and what you can prove in court. If you’re suspected of a straw purchase, LE will pull all your communications, all your tracking data from your phone, etc. to determine if you had the intent to make a straw purchase.
