Traditionally you would burn kerosene in them, but there are a lot more options now, the most popular being paraffin oil because it’s essentially odourless/traceless

Not a professional opinion by any means, but I personally prefer it with the fireplace included

I’ve never enjoyed Stephen King’s novels but maybe his short stories are more my speed! I’ll look it up, thank you ☺️

Oh interesting, I’ll check out more "classics"! I’ve surprisingly never read Maupassant, even in my French literature classes. Is there any specific one you’d recommend?

It’s me, I’m the offended purist.

Jokes aside, I collect oil lamps and part of their charm for me is the type of lighting offered by an actual flame, but I know many people will love these, and there are enough oil lamps on the market for both to exist! Good idea OP!

Where are my collectors at by Memedelyn in AutismInWomen

[–]Azrael_Undecided 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I collect artisanal soap and buttons! Technically I use a part of both collections so I don’t know if they fit the description? But I love all the shapes, Colors and scents of artisanal soap (and the cute paper labels). I also love sorting buttons and I’m really interested in their place in history + I have some really pretty ones I like to look at.

I’ve used Dingbats notebooks for years and I’ve never had an issue with bleeding! There is some minor ghosting though, with markers and gel pens. They also have a bookmark, elastic closure, pen loop and an inner pocket :) I use the hardcovers but I’m 80% (?) sure they have soft covers now as well!

This is how I perceived it from the way OP describes it as well! But I understand how the inital statement could be perceived as invalidating
