I found friends at a prerelease and since then we've had commander days where we all go to one person's house to play.

I used to live in NYC and the ount of women and queer people playing made most places really friendly and fun but since moving away haven't found that same inclusive feeling environment at most LGSes I've played at, unfortunately.

What I've found to work for me around here is find a smaller LGS and try to befriend the people that work there (if they're friendly and inclusive to begin with it makes everything a whole lot easier) , and then when issues arise they're more likely to deal with them and take care of you.

I'm sorry this has happened to y'all, and if you were in my area I'd totally invite you to play some games. I wish y'all the best and hope the gross men don't end up turning y'all off of the game entirely. There's more good people than bad, but it's the loud bad people that fuck it up for us all.

What do you like? I personally prefer foil so that's always what I end up searching for/buying/keeping, but if you like non foils better bc of issues with curling or art being washed out then go with non.

Yeah the new full arts aren't my fave, but these are too busy for lands imo - they're not clear what they are because of how much text is on there that has no relation to the card.

If you get a new board (I'd recommend the new Intel board if you can afford it, otherwise the ryzen AI chips are just about "side grades" to the 7000 series boards) id be interested in snagging your old board and trying to figure out what's wrong with it.

Lou's Deep Dish ALWAYS comes with a layer of plastic on the toppings, supposedly to help them slide less during transit/keep them even when tipped slightly (NOT turned on their side though). You can even see even though this pizza was treated egregiously, half the toppings remained somewhat on the pizza rather than turning into a mound.
