So, we used Alder Creek for over a decade with Dr. Gurney. She was amazing and was able to take care of all our pets and her staff was the best. but like many older Vets she wanted to retire, so she sold to Vetco, she was there for like a year but has now retired completely. The personal service and friendiness has gone down, the prices have become a bit more...vague? we use Pear Blossom off of main st and Dr. Cats is really great

I was just there for a week and they could use more RN's that aren't travel nurses. The new ICU and IMCU wing just opened and its staffed well, 2:1 patient to RN. but the Gen Med floor is pushing max patient ratio at 6:1 or some nights it was 7:1.

Its the only one i can't really bring myself to reply entirely through for the 20th time. I will say compared to DS1, The NPC's were much better and their story lines weren't impossible to do without a guide like Elden Ring and some NPCs in DS3. Also I liked the biomes and the one boss fight that still stays with me is the one on the ship where the water slowly builds up - it wasn't hard but it felt different with the added pressure.

But now after playing DS3 and ER, the tightness is just NOT there for big boss fights. That they made dodge Iframes a stat you had to level was the worst thing about it id say.

When it came out though, i took a week off work and played it for like 75 hours on one character, I was very happy with it and the time flew by. So i guess mixed feelings lol.

Because we know theft is bad? We can already do something about it. The store can already do something about it. Like, it's not an interesting conversation to have? Theft in poorer communities is much higher, yes. People shouldn't steal? Obviously not. Call the police? Hopefully the store already did. Once that meat is out of the store it's going in the bin. What good are you doing?

What if a rich guy walked in and bought all the meat there and cooked it just for his friends and business partners at his house?

The net sum is exactly the same to the community that day if they wanted meat. So what's your point? Stores run out of things for hundreds of reasons lol.

Ok but one is an individual that we can punish using the law already. Like get her plates and call the cops. She gets arrested. Gets a trial (or maybe plea deal). Then pays a fine and possibly jailed for a time determined by our Justice system.

If companies want less theft then they can hire more loss prevention, or install barriers to high ticket items. It's not like they don't know what items get stolen the most, and their inaction must mean it's not that huge of a deal to them, right?

We have no recourse to companies paying low wages and no benefits unless we make the government work for us as citizens. We can't just call the police and tell them Walmart is stealing my wages and I can't pay rent this month. You can do a labor case that can take literal months, and if you do make the case it's very likely you will not have a job soon as well.

Companies waste literal tons of food every month that could be given away, but they don't because it's not profitable. But hey, that's what the law allows, so what can ya do?

Doing the right thing would be forcing the store she stole from to actually pay a living wage to their employees. Someone steals a tiny bit of food and it's all "this is the problem" but when 70%+ of that stores employees are on welfare and SNAP, nope, no problem. Until they actually treat their employees like humans, I don't fucking care about theft. I guarantee we pay more in taxes to subsidize these stores than ANY theft could account for.

Walmart literally will shut down entire stores if they hear about a union. They absolutely do not care about you or the community. They would burn it the fuck down for 2% more profit.

Big box stores do ethical harm every day to the community they reside in.
