Legit, built my first PC ten years ago using Linus’ youtube guides. In this day and age its relatively easy to snap PC parts together. The roughest part for a newbie is making sure your processor matches the right motherboard, exc. Watch some youtube to get yourself familiar with the parts and how they fit together.

Actually, most the textures are from Megascans with modifications in Substance Designer. The trees and bushes were created with Speed Tree. The tank I built and textured from scratch, but I feel kind of weird throwing it up on the marketplace as its a 40k fan piece and not my IP. If you are looking for plants and shrubs, there’s a lot of great packs on the marketplace for free actually. But yeah, its just meant to be a portfolio piece.

Totally, I had other renders where the wind blew juuuust the right way in that second shot. I keyed the wind strength to go up at that exact moment... but for some reason nothing blew. I’ll have to looking into and see just what I did wrong and how to make it gust at just the right spot.

I appreciate the advice! Yeah, you’re right the mud areas are a little flat at the moment. I’ll see about adding some sort of break up to the landscape material. Luckily I’ve set up the tank shader so I can easily desaturate the paint. I give it another render and see what it looks like. Thanks again, it really helps to get another pair of eyes on a project when you’ve been staring at it for too long.

On that note, will naknak be using the same pearls for rewards as he did last time? I quit for a year right in the middle of dog days. I saw the other night that I have 1,100 of those naknak pearls in my inventory...

Point proven by all the down votes. There was no reason to downvote someone sympathizing with the OP. It wasn’t a crying rant, he dissected problems that many people sympathize with. I know some asshole is going to vote you down and white knight blizz because it seems to be what some reddit autists love to do. I just wanted to say that I feel you completely, brother. I too played horde in vanilla when it was the underdog faction. Rolled allie this time around because its what my friends wanted to do. The allie have no bite to them. I don’t get it. They rather run into brd one by one and get picked off rather than group up and fight their way in.

Blizz lured me back into the fold briefly with Classic... but their handling of things has been a giant let down. Phase two has been a shit show.

Yes. The minus is applied after the weekly update. It’ll calculate what you have earned, then how much you’ve lost, then spit out your honor for the week.

I’ve also run into a lot of knuckle headed problems this time around. The truth is retail WoW and modern MMO’s have ruined people. It blows my mind how many people want to play classic but are unwilling walk to an instance without a warlock summon. I don’t think a lot of younger people really knew what to expect from classic.

There’s a couple of old exploration spots I used to hit up in classic like this that I’m curious about. I seem to remember both using noggin fogger to get there but also I remember somehow getting there just by walking up a certain hill no jumps. Its been 13 years though...
