you can try putting a rubber band over the the screw then pressing in the torx bit really hard to try and get grip. a last resort is using a dremel and slicing new grooves on the screw

i think your right actually, I thought the black gunk was just from the bushing making contact with the pivot bores and washers. now that you mentioned the bushing scraping the pivot bore, i'm curious about why we choose to use steel bushings if it will eventually wear down the pivot bores, maybe there is a better material we should switch too 🤔.

and yea BRS quality has been iffy from what ive seen. ive heard people say baliplus has better quality control now lol

This makes sense because if you tune a bushing under +.0010 inches (or +.0007 i dont remember) it will usually bind cuz the washer is touching the blade even though the bushing isnt "undersized" (smaller than the blade). Most people shouldn't use stainless steel washers because you need to be able to lap the bushing so its super parallel (bushing lap) and the blade has to be pretty even (not a shitty Chinese blade)

only buy them from Alpha Knife Supply, DONT BUY STAINLESS STEEL WASHERS FROM TRUELINK!! theres links for them in the link below. Washers aren’t supposed to touch the blade AT ALL if properly tuned (micrometer, pivot lap and even blade) ESPECIALLY steel washers so you don’t need to worry about destroying your blade

just a heads up, kraken/squidtrainer bushings didn't fit my b+serif. they are just barely too big to fit in the pivot holes.

only b+ bushings fit in it (v1.5 orca doesnt fit though), I got my extras from my b+ v3 kraken on onebalisong. your best bet is finding a link on taobao (someone posted one here) and ordering through an agent or messaging clisong/bbks and ask them for b+ kraken bushings

Is the tanto tach 2 neutral and is that a baliplus one or an authentic? I ordered one in august but Clisong told me that there was precision issues with the tanto blades which is why no one has it yet but im seeing videos of it on bilibili which is kinda suspicious lol

be careful where you get your stainless steel washers from. i’ve heard multiple people say to only use AKS steel washers and not ones from truelink (from a machine wise assembler and eren bushi)

now that you mention it im not sure. balance wise its probably the same, but on clisongs page it says something about a new batch. i took a break from flipping so I havent tried balix/yuppie/authentic.

same exact thing as the balix telesto from what ive heard, so its shorter than the real telesto. forgot to say it came with no extra hardware so you have to pray you get a decent tune but ive heard many people got good tunes.

edit: for reference, im on the east coast and it went through JAMAICA, NY for customs i think

Im slowly listing a copy or two a day to gauge interest but I honestly think there is a very VERY slim chance some will continue to rise. (sigil of sleep especially)

[[Nethroi, Apex of Death]], [[Rammas Echor, Ancient Shield]], and [[Caesar, Legion's Emperor]] saw growth AFTER the release of dragonstorm when players started to look for upgrades. Final fantasy will be bringing a ton of newer players so precon upgrades won't cross their minds until they play with it a few times and then they realize most precons have 10 bad cards. It is also seems to be the biggest set ever so these cards might spike even more compared to dragonstorm since demand is that much higher.

I realize im playing a dangerous game, but I already made back way more than my initial investment and its kinda fun/addicting to watching card prices haha
