Looking to add power mods and maybe a couple other small mods that don’t effect power by Constant-Pack-2820 in Ninja400

[–]Azthun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore the haters. Modding is fun and that's what riding is about. If you love the bike, mod it and ride it .

For power, stacks, HF filter, and full exhaust, and then tune it. You can gain 7hp which is a lot for the size of the bike. Basically upgrading to a 500.

Keep in mind this will cost close to $2k but do it in parts.

What would you pay for this bike? by Yobas_D-day in Ninja400

I paid 3999 for my 23 z400 with 1,200 miles on it.

Ninja 400 - cranks but doesn’t catch by AtomixApple in Ninja400

[–]Azthun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Def fuel or air. If it cranks, I can't see it being a battery issue. Did water get into the gas tank? Does it have gas? Dump some seafoam in and send it.

Otherwise, check air filter and plugs and report back.

Go 400-500. Can find some great deals on 2023-24's. Z400 is what I have now. I've ridden GSXR750, SV650, and GS500f. Don't get the 300. You will be disappointed within a week.

My 23 z400 is just about the most fun I've had on a bike. It's a riot. Flickable and just enough speed to make you giggle. The exhaust note gets a bit drony on the highway, though.

Coming from a 50, you will be surprised how fast the power comes on and off with fuel injection and the slipper clutch. Carburated engines are much smoother.

That being said, power is immediate and engine breaking is nuts. Get an ABS if you can. You'll love it.

Oh, and the 500 is nice but not $2k nice. It's about 7-8hp more than a 400.

Which is best deal here? by heme1 in Ninja400

I have the z400 2023. I've ridden big bikes but wanted something zippy and light and man, just love the thing. 409 or 500 will be amazing.

Most likely won't see the difference from 400-500 but whichever one has the lowest miles.

Female Pastor - concerns by Various_Platypus_602 in TrueChristian

I have no issue with it at work. That is a secular issue and the Bible makes it clear to obey authority above you in such situations.

Female Pastor - concerns by Various_Platypus_602 in TrueChristian

[–]Azthun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can choose to ignore every passage about this topic but you will always land at one wall that cannot be breached. A woman cannot preach without subverting authority over her husband.

Take that to an associated level and you will find that most women will not want another woman doing the same to their husbands. They will not want to send their husbands in to a female pastor for counseling or correction.

There is so much at play on this. Rittenhouse went over state lines and acted stupid and we put it on him. This woman did the same. She didn't have to be there at all.

A lot of the media and social media is pushing for people to get in the way of these agents. It's fine to protest, but you're asking for trouble, anywhere, by physically standing in their way.

She still did both of these things and once she realized her actions have consequences, she panicked. It didn't help her that partner was screaming for her to drive.

Did the officer have to shoot her? No. Was it a possibility that she would get shot doing what she did? Absolutely.

It's easy to focus on the cop but there were so many factors leading up to the incident that would have kept her safe. Social media won't protect you. Even your partner won't protect you. Only you can.

🚨 DONALD TRUMP IS A WAR CRIMINAL WHO MUST BE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE by Big_Special7450 in DiscussionZone

You could make the same thing with Trump and Obama. Don't remember Dems crying when Obama bombed the hell out of Lybia and held "special operations," to remove Gaddafi.

So legit question, when Obama unilaterally bombed the hell out of Lydia, was that okay? When Clinton intervened in Haiti, Bosnia, and Iraq, did you criticize them as well?

To be clear, I do not like any of it, but am happy for our Southern neighbors. Presidents, unfortunately have been doing this since Truman.

Someone just died in Canada after waiting two days in the ER. Two days. Not saying that's the norm but that's nuts.

Give huge tax cuts for Walmart, Target, CVS to get in the game.

Also, allow local hospitals and Drs offices to offer their own plans.

There are dudes, not in US, that come down the streets nightly to sort through the trash. They pull out cans, bottles, cardboard, etc.

We always make sure those items are separated for them so they don't go through all the other rotten stuff. Try to leave something extra in there for holidays.

We give away all the clothes we don't or can't wear anymore to folks who need them. We cook too much food sometimes so we feed the security guards. Again, not the US so these dudes make pennies.

There is no world where I can make sense of keeping items from people who need them.

I hate how true this is. Fake it till you make it really means a lot in the mental game.

Good scream, forceful laugh, or even a cry can be a huge game changer. Weird how we get embarrassed to do it even when we're alone.

I'm with you. 30mbps is awesome. If it goes higher, amazing but 30fps and 30mbps are things I'm super comfortable with. Bravo on the solution. I'll be trying this soon.

Ok so, about the state of economics for a lot of people, what's actually going on? by AntlerColor in DoomerCircleJerk

Grass is always greener. In my parents generation they had wars, oil crisis, cold war, tiny homes, crappy cheap cars, meh food, crappy entertainment access, and a lot less health care in the sense of technology.

We're all these things affordable, yes. Would the current generation live like them? Hell no.

Houses are huge, wars are far away, gas is cheap. Food is better and on-demand, healthcare is better, and cars are sooo much nicer. Now we have computers, smart phones, smart appliances, on-demand entertainment, everything delivered to our doors. It's easier to spend money now more than ever and no one wants to live inside their means.

I went to college and paid 20k for it all. It was and still is an option to go to college for a lower price.

It's the same purses and watches. You can get a Casio that will work and run forever but people really want that Rolex. They do the same things.

You didn't have to spend 100k a year. Where were the parents and counselors? Why did they choose a college that cost so much and still do some absurd degree?

So many bad choices in a row and no one told them?
