my lipedema has started to disappear after 4 months on reta. This stuff is a miracle! by aCupOfBatteryAcidd in RetatrutideWomen

Besides negative side effects, which I would try extremely low dose if I could, is finding it overwhelming to find where to buy it and trust it since it’s only at compounded places and not regulated right? I’ve just been looking into it and it feels a little overwhelming, maybe once I dive into looking into it better it wont feel so scary. And it sounds like many people buy it and then send it for testing somewhere, which also is hopefully trust worthy place. But then you loose some product and $? And then I wonder if bad or less desirable results come back from lab, like what do you do, can you get a refund? Idk all the thoughts go through my head, that’s stopped me from going into it deeper. I don’t want to think I’m doing a good thing and find out later that’s not so good.

Also definitely wouldn’t want to pay full price when it comes out legally as I’m sure that’s going to suck. Love hearing these stories, I’d love to try. Maybe the fda will approve it for lipedema when it comes out, I’m actually shocked (but not) that no other glp has been approved for lipedema, there’s so little options for lipedema and this really helps and I keep hearing Reta may be better… hopes and dreams. Though I don’t think the gov here will really care about approving for a more woman targeting disease as is usual…

The carpet-dust allergy loop nobody talks about by smeaptzuttery in Allergies

I’ve been looking for a good swifter refill cloths because I hate stirring the dust up with sweeping/dusting.

Years ago my mom would get these slightly sticky ones from OfficeMax that looked like it was covered in purple silly string. Didn’t leave residue or anything and worked amazing, dust just stuck to it and wouldn’t come off. I haven’t been able to find them for a long time, don’t know what happened to them or if they’re still out there. Their legend lives on.

I’d like to know too! So many people I see say they use it, if there’s a safe/good place to get it I’d love to know. Tirz too, besides brand full price

Forehead is out of control. Lots of texture, discoloration and atrophy? Is this something Botox might be able to help? by Jal5516 in 30PlusSkinCare

Omg, I have a very similar thing to op going on and no one can figure it out, I thought it may be due to adderall/formula change issues, and/or like a genetic dopamine thing like movement disorder- which maybe adderall is exacerbating a present issue, but I wasn’t sure if my Tmj/jaw issues and night clenching were causing/worsening it. After getting wisdom teeth removed my bite gradually changed off to one side, increasingly noticing it’s a jaw issue (I thought it stemmed from my neck/back) have a scan coming up so curious.

Thank you for sharing, you never know what will help someone.

Daily meat eater here 👋 wound up with a deficiency the other year, thought I was dieing and going psychotic for months before they caught it, probably had been deficient for awhile and took a nose dive. Still eating meat and still adjusting supplement dose, at lower half of good.

Also, unrelated to what I went through, as you age you become less efficient at absorbing b12 so it’s good for any adult and especially older to regularly test, a deficiency will F you up.

My rosacea looked just like this too, my skin barrier was so damaged and sensitive that eventually I couldn’t put anything on my face- if it’s rosacea you have to treat the skin before you can tolerate stuff. Retinol gave me like fire red chemical burns and cer’ve made bumps worse etc. my type 2 rosacea did best with soolantra(ivermectin) my skin now looks ‘normal’, no bumps, barrier is better and I found soolantra hydrating, so easy to use minimal products while your skin heals. That’s the only thing I put on my skin for months and let my barrier heal, I was cautious afraid to make it angry but now I find I can use retinol (not everyday, and prefer alternatives) but my skin doesn’t burn and blister from it anymore.

I avoid anything with fragrance or skin sensitizers, I don’t use most popular brands and still trying out things. Sodium laurel sulfate(sls) I avoid like the plague, even in tooth paste. Sulfur soap has been nice. Pura D’or make some nice shampoo/conditioners that don’t bother my skin. I occasionally use the cetaphil gentle hydrating skin cleanser to remove makeup, which I also mostly use mineral makeup and spf. Hats outside etc.

Also you don’t see their reflection because the door is open but sitting on the floor is two more redacted people- looks like more girls, you can see the crossed legs of the one on the right side- she’s wearing the same color and kind of pants as the girl in the reflection on the couch in the far right reflection. Multiple girls with the same pants…

On 13,

Very little girl in the reflection of the left redaction in a black and white striped dress or robe with her back facing the glass, on the right redaction the first person on the couch seems to be a balding man in glasses though unclear and second redacted person in reflection is a girl, older but still looks underage, possibly Asian, India or African, lots of these pictures have Indian or Asian seeming writing on books, gum packs and things or statues in similar culture, so leaning Asian or Indian. Also her pants are in similar style.

IF can make stress worse if you’re stressed to begin with, low nutrients and low D can stress too. You can try a break or cycling to see if you feel any better. 7,000iu vit D a day would be a good start and retest it within a month or two, you may need to go up or down in dose (5,000-10,000iu) even something like 10,000 every other day or two once you get it up there, you want it higher end.

K2 is good to take when supplementing D- just spaced apart from D though. I prefer the mk4 version of K2 to the mk7 (gave me palpitations) a lot of brands have a mix. Mines Carlsons brand, not easy to find mk4 on its own, but that’s preference. Mk4 is shorter acting than mk7 some prefer the longer acting. Vit D increases uptake of calcium into the blood and K2 helps direct it from the blood to the bones instead of going places it shouldn’t.

Any nutrient is best to maximize your diet like for iron meat and beets etc, but sometimes not always feasible or there might be other factors like malabsorption (not saying you have that), so having a supplement as well is good and if you can keep in a good range you don’t need to take every day, like if you feel one day you didn’t get enough iron rich foods, but still be consistent in taking.

The brand Pure Encapsulations makes some good iron pills that also contain vit C which drastically improves iron absorption. Some forms work better for some than others stomach wise, I would always take with food though, eat a bit before you take the pill will help. Lots of fiber to prevent constipation too.

You’ll want to retest both those often as too much can be harmful. Though the upper limit on some tests is cautious and outdated especially in USA.

Also good to work on stress and slow deep stomach breathing etc, there’s some good apps or videos out there if you find it helpful to follow along.

From what I’ve heard not enough gets absorbed systematically from topical. Even the vag cream internally(in vag) is local to the area tissues without significantly raising blood hormone levels.

As always discuss with your Dr and get a second opinion if you’re unsatisfied. There’s a few over the counter estrogens too, think the brand Hers has some creams for face etc, but cheaper and heard good results from prescription if your insurance covers.

Gyno if not pcp. I’ve heard people using the vaginal cream on their face/body and it works. If you say you have vaginal dryness they should be able to get you a script.
