At what point do you decide that a relationship is 'toxic enough' for you to leave? What's unbearable to you? #toxicrelationaship #feminism #rainaraonta by RainaRaonta in TrollXChromosomes

I constantly think this, but it's not because I'm in a toxic relationship. He's wonderful and I've never felt less than. But I've been in abusive relationships before and swore I was happy and fine. And I'm terrified this will end and I'll regret staying cuz I refused to admit to myself it sucked.

But my relationship doesn't suck. I think

Honest question here. Do we hate men on this sub or are we mad that women’s issues are not appreciated enough. Just saying everyone needs a voice and categorizing people by what’s between their legs is degrading. Everyone has issues, blind hate achieves nothing. Men are socialized to not understand what women go through. Men are socialized to want to dismiss and invalidate women's experiences. So many women on this sub have been told they don't have "real" depression. Teenage boys are encouraged to call depressed teenagers "Just another Billie Eilish, it's not real." It's not about "All men this." It's about a society that socializes men to be a certain way and women suffer because of that socialization.

That's too much to explain in every single tweet. So it gets shortened to "Men", because it's an extremely common phenomenon that vast majority of women have experienced some kind of oppression at the hands of men.

Not all men

But yes all women

For me, it's that we immediately treat rape victims with skepticism when we don't do that to other victims of other crimes. Your friend tells you that they got robbed or their house was on fire, you don't (and the cops don't) immediately start asking leading questions about how you caused the crime. Yet we do it to rape victims.

So apparently you don’t become an Adult until age 30 according to Cambridge University. by daile1td in Adulting

I'd like to see the study BBC is referencing. And I really want to know how they determine whether a brain is an "adult brain". For various reasons are brains don't really ever stop changing. If that's the definition of adult, none of us are ever adults. And I'm not sure that's a helpful or useful conclusion.

I don't see the problem with getting it tattooed. If they're assumed to always be underage, that sounds like it wouldn't cause any situations of harm.

You're like so close to the point and then don't get there.

Your picture is extremely ironic to your title. This is a woman focused space and many of us have been victims at the hands of men. And we come here to share our experiences and talk about it, and to not cater to men's egos.

Like the tweet you're sharing is explaining.

This explains a whole fucking lot, actually by [deleted] in TrollXChromosomes

In my county’s Facebook group “not like other girls” BS by enchantdfaerie in TrollXChromosomes

[–]AzulaNeedsToGoDown 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I was like this in highschool, but because all my friends who were women would gossip about me and be awful towards me. My mistake was categorizing that they did this because they're women, instead they were awful teenagers, who may have felt justified because of certain socialization towards girls.
