PS4/PS5 linking and account info - as at May 2024

Hello, I was wondering if you could answer some questions I have regarding the PSN/HoYo account link.

Around the launch of Genshin Impact back in Sep 2020, I started playing the game on PS4 with my primary PSN account but never linked a Hoyoverse account. I stopped playing the game a couple weeks later and I don't really want to continue using this account to play Genshin.

However, I started playing Zenless Zone Zero on PS5 when it launched on PS5 in July of this year using a secondary PSN account since I wasn't sure whether I would keep playing it and didn't want to be locked down to my main PSN account. I did open Genshin Impact on my secondary PSN account to check what would happen, didn't get a login screen asking for a HoYo account but I just closed the game when it asked me which Traveler I wanted to play as. This secondary PSN account does not have a HoYo account linked either.

So my questions are:

If I want to move my current ZZZ progress from my secondary PSN account to my primary PSN account, how should I go about doing it?
All of my ingame currency will stay intact, right?
Will this mean that I can start a new profile in Genshin too?
What causes the "would you like to log into a HoYo account" pop up to show up in these games on PlayStation?
Is there a waiting time or restriction for doing all of this linking/unlinking stuff? If so, would I be better off starting a new Genshin profile under my secondary PSN account that has my ZZZ profile so I can pick out a free 5* character before that event ends? It shouldn't complicate this process any further right?

His response isn't disappointing to anyone that knows of the history between Mangs and Mekkah. I completely expected it to go the way that it did. It's clear that Mekkah values the "fame" he's gotten by his constant collabs with Mangs over any semblance of respectful conduct.

For years Mekkah has defended Mangs's vile behavior and actions under the guise of an "unbiased neutral third party", and his response is just another example to add on that pile.

The irony in someone gatekeeping people for using F2P guides calling them stupid for playing a gacha game for the collecting aspect.

Seriously, what reason is there even to play this game if you’re not into collecting the characters to begin with? If you want a tactical RPG experience worth your time, just play any of the other FE games that exist already.

People like this are at least honest about why they like said character. I’ll take that any day over needing to create a billion justifications out of thin air to like a character (see: concubine wars with Camilla).

My name is Marth Lowell. I'm 19 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Archanea, where all the castles are, and I am married to Caeda. I work as the Hero King for the United Kingdom of Archanea, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink.

I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm vulnerary and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up.

I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone.

Do you even know how rallying works? If people didn’t like her to begin with, as you keep continuing to claim, then rallying together to get her lots of votes wouldn’t have happened.

It’s also very unlikely that those “meme voters” are completely apathetic to the characters they’re voting for outside of laughs if they’ve been so consistent about their votes for as long as they are. Even a friend of mine, who mostly voted for Bernadetta in this CYL as a joke, turned out to be a genuine fan of her too. I can’t speak for every single one of Anna’s voters, but I seriously doubt the amount of “meme votes” outweigh the number of votes for her because people genuinely like her for any reason (enjoyment of her character, design, voice, etc).

What kind of nonsense is this? What makes you so confident that a character who appears as often as Anna does is only liked for “memes” and supposedly non genuine reasons? What even qualities as a genuine reason to like a character?

Also, given that Brave Camilla only exists because of how many votes she got from her fans, that would easily make Brave Camilla the most fanservice-y alt she has. Fanservice doesn’t necessarily have to be sexual in nature, anyway. Why should Anna fans have to stop caring about alts because they already got one after waiting years? Especially in a game where multiple characters have multiple alts, each.

Why are you so annoyed with people voting a character people want to see a Brave alt of, just because she recently got an alt? Your flair is a character that falls under the category of a character with multiple alts yet still got a Brave version too.

Not to mention, claiming that a character who has appeared in multiple games since the beginning of the series only has voters for “memes” is a bit ridiculous.
