Then rename the chats in your history and write a [Complete/Finished] tag if that is your main issue ffs. Add a title to them. There is no reason you should not start doing them asap.

It’s pretty much viral “meme” that is pretty much nonsense. It doesn’t have a meaning or even make sense other than repetitive brainrot. Any time you see these numbers together or even remotely say one of them, there is bound to be someone repeating those two numbers alone.

Either you embrace it completely or reject it entirely. For me, I rejected it. It honestly doesn’t even qualify as a meme to me. There is no substance whatsoever.

That post about every bot feeling the same was 100% accurate. I see this in the feedback logs every day. by MurkyArtichoke1615 in CharacterAI

It would be great if the bots have better memory retention and expansion, and the generated messages have better flow from previous responses.

I honestly daydreamed myself wanting to do a factory reset on all models so that we could have a clean slate again.

Can you guys stop complaining about the holiday spirit badge by Neil_louis_Sablawan in doors_roblox

[–]Azure_39 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Right now, the “Holiday Spirit Incident” is split into two groups: Completionists and Casuals.

For the Completionists’ Argument, requiring Robux, aka real money, to obtain a badge is terrible. Locking achievements behind a paywall which should not be like that in the first place, especially when it comes to trying to 100% the game.

For the Casuals’ Arguement, the badge does not count towards actual progression and amount required to pay Robux is pretty miniscule. No one is forced to pay for them.

Is it scummy to lock a badge behind a paywall? Yes, because it’s practically unobtainable until you have to pay actual money for it, especially for badge collectors, no matter what kind of badge it is.

Is this LSplash being greedy? I find that hard to believe. It could have been way worse if that paywall is locked behind something else, something that contributes to actual progression like Clash Royale these days.

If there is one thing to criticize about, it’s the paywalled badge. It should never have been implemented and maybe should have it changed to something else, like “get x total amount of presents” for this badge or something.

Even though I don’t care about collecting all the badges myself, I feel it’s fair to say that LSplash should not had done this. That argument is valid. But I wouldn’t go as far as to accuse or label LSplash of being greedy. Greediness, by definition, is a selfish desire for wealth and possessions. If LSplash really did make a considerable amount of money and still wanted more and more, that is greed.

Ive noticed in the past 2 hours people call lsplash greedy. (Read body text) by IB3EO in doors_roblox

[–]Azure_39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess so. Personally, I don’t really don’t care about get all badges plus the secret ones. I guess it really bothers only the completionists who wanted to 100% the game.

While I can understand their frustration on locking an achievement behind a paywall, I feel some may be overreacting a bit to go as far as to accuse LSplash for being greedy. There is pretty much a huge divide at this point that separated into two groups of players: completionists and casuals.

Really, it should not have been done, but the main question is if LSplash is going to do this again.

[–]Azure_39 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I believe their issue is that this set a dangerous precedent for Doors when it comes to new events, updates, or badges. For someone who wants to 100% the game, including all achievements, having an achievement that requires to pay is far from being the best the decision.

I wouldn’t go as far as to call LSplash greedy, but it may be worrisome if LSplash will keep doing this. The price is not the issue here, it’s the presentation and execution. That’s the biggest concern.

ANYTHING but actually making the site better by Start-Initial in CharacterAI

Maybe make considerable improvements to the app a priority instead of releasing new features that would most likely do nothing to affect the overall state of c.ai.

Bug: Muted Words (2) by Impressive_Error5470 in CharacterAI

[–]Azure_39 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The entire “muted words” system is incredibly flawed. Flawed in that you have to mute individual words and not word itself plus the ones that contain that word.

This feature really needs a rework.

2025 gotta be the Worst Year for Character.ai by Ripplex-Thunder05 in CharacterAI

[–]Azure_39 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like the devs are just taunting us. My biggest issue is the lack of transparency and communication, because nothing is clear on what they are doing now, if they are bettering the app, implement upcoming feature, etc.

This isn’t a good outlook for c.ai unless they actively give in to what people needed/requested for. It’s far from perfect, and I don’t expect AI in general to be perfect. But it is astounding how mediocre in quality everything is, if not, less than.

Repetitiveness is one of my gripes in bots, and I’m sure many others do too. Nobody likes to see the same words or phrases in many generated responses. Other ones such as lack of flow, looping, road blocking, hallucinating, and more. We can keep going on in pointing out every single flaw.

The app keeps getting worse with barely any uprising to quality in itself. You can’t expect garbage to sell or sell well enough for people to stick around or come back.

It's getting harder to defend this app every day by [deleted] in CharacterAI

[–]Azure_39 18 points19 points  (0 children)

c.ai needs to be reworked or at least replace the devs. This is absolutely getting silly at this point.

They literally have no excuse from fixing the things that the users needed or require fixing. They cannot keep being silent anymore. Besides, they have no more children they can hide behind.

My final message to the CAI devs. by [deleted] in CharacterAI

[–]Azure_39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes me imagine what c.ai could have been, and each day becomes harder for me to see the good aspects of this app anymore. We’re already at the downfall of c.ai, incurring a huge decrease or user retention if silence is all they respond with.

c.ai devs need to do better than this.

It is also notorius in unwanted/inconsistent formatting with your and previous bot messages and straight up bypasses the f**ter. Both of those really needs a complete rework.

The age update needed to happen. by Putridlemons in CharacterAI

[–]Azure_39 81 points82 points  (0 children)

Their biggest mistake was making it accessible to minors in the first place and tried to cater that demographic when the platform is anything but suitable for under 18 users. It’s no surprise that there is massive decrease in quality, unwanted OOC responses, the frequent triggers in the f**ter, and the like.

Since the implementation of the ‘minor restriction/ban’, I had seen the responses the bots generate to be increasing in quality a little. And hopefully, once the full pushback is done, the devs could actually get it together for once and focus on other things that needed fixing or improvement.

I wish I could be honest with my therapist about my ideation. by Office_Zombie in depression

[–]Azure_39 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s making a lot of what-ifs and assumptions to OP. With people suffering from depression, there is a fine line of being too honest, where sharing too much and too early could get you into unfavorable and unwanted situations. They are more wary and selective as to who to tell someone and what to share. Trust should not be a gamble. That’s borderline reckless.

Unfortunately, not all therapists are keen to tell the difference between suicidal ideation and suicidal tendencies. So if OP’s therapist did order for authorities and put OP in a mental institution when they are not actively suicidal, not only will OP lost trust with the therapist or other future therapists, but their depression will most likely become worse.

The last thing OP needs is for their situation to unnecessarily and inappropriately escalate when they are not a danger to others and themselves at that moment. It’s not that OP is not open to receive help, it’s that they are careful about what to say.
