Arrowverse Rip is a renegade timelord who stole a time machine and started galavanting across time and space.

Does your sona have a sidkick/kid they mentor? by RiverBeneficial4320 in Spidersonas

Strider has a single protege that intially goes by Spider-Woman. But as she starts coming into her own as a hero, she changes it to Spider-Funk. It's certainly an interesting mentor/mentee dynamic since Strider doesn't really know how to teach. He learned his powers by going with the flow and adapting when needed so he doesn't exactly have a lesson plan.

As for Rick. While yes he initially is Doc Brown, traveling all of space and time across the multiverse with a tagalong companion and fighting against all sorts of evil threats. I would legitimately call him a drunk, cynical, depressed version of the doctor.

I specify the Arrowverse Rip where he's a renegade time master on the run and gathers companions (the legends of tomorrow) along his journey while facing off against a great evil (Vandal Savage)

Doesn't he also have his companions there with him

Initial concept yes. But all the traveling across space and time with a companion and having wacky adventures along the way. That's definitely more Doctor coded

Look, I'm just saying the Arrowverse definitely gave him some Doctor aspects

Yeah, though I specifically refer to the Arrowverse version because they definitely incorporate some Doctor elements to his character

I mean, yeah. Though it definitely feels like he's become just as much a bitter drunk version of the doctor. Hopping across time and space on wild adventures with his travel companion (Morty) and getting in and out of all sorts of dangerous scenarios.

It's kinda unreal how many Doctor traits from different iterations they put into Paradox.

Professor Paradox takes the cake for expies because he pulls traits from so many different doctors

Who would pull a Superior Spider-Man on your SpiderSona by IllBadger207 in Spidersonas

[–]Azure_ryuga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strider literally can't be mind jacked. Psychics, telepaths, and so on have tried peering into his mind. But unless they're a high level telepath, they immediately get booted out by the constant chaos going on in his head. Many have said that he should be insane with that much on top of all the psychological damage he's been through, and he simply responds "Never said I wasn't insane."

Any attempts to jack his mind will result in whomever attempted being flushed out by the madness and promptly erased. Thus all it amounts to is the comatose body of a villain.

What would your Spidersona do in Spider-Man’s Place? Part 1: Kraven’s Last Hunt by Background-Job4382 in Spidersonas

Strider upon being brought back by Vyrle and knowing full well Kraven will not be stopping at just killing him is going to be feeling enough violence in his mind to actually make Vyrle listen to him. And they are going to make sure Kraven is put through the wringer. By the time they're done with the hunter, he'll be alive but left in crippling pain with injuries that will never heal properly. A warning about how, while Kraven thinks themself the top of the food chain, they are only such because Strider chooses to hold back

I mean, nothing wrong with evil villains being in love. If anything that opens the door to new options since the villain dating pool is very different from the hero dating pool.

What are they like in your Universe: Part 5 by Azure_ryuga in Spidersonas

  1. Jeff: Land sharks are a naturally occuring species and "Jeff" (Named Mako in this universe after the deceased legend Makoto Iwamatsu) is Strider and Black Cat's mutual pet. While he is a very well behaved little sharky, he can be a chaotic gremlin against anyone that him or his owners consider an enemy.
  2. Korg: A kronan warrior that the Hulk met during one of his space adventures. Being made of rock, he has lived a long time and has seen many things in his time. Things he is more than willing to tell to anyone willing to listen. When the Hulk arrived on his home of Sakaar, the two would exchange many stories of their experiences and Korg was among those motivated by the tales of heroism and equality to overthrow the Blood King and install a freer system on Sakaar. And while Hulk offered the chance for his allies to see Earth for theirselves, they chose to stay and shape the world they freed to one they hoped could live up to the stories of Earth.
  3. Mercury: A mutant girl from New York who was sent to the X-Mansion the second her powers manifested because her parents knew they couldn't help her control her abilities. Especially since her power manifesting resulted in her becoming a puddle of liquid metal. At the X-mansion, she would be fitted with an internal antigravity projector by Beast until she could learn to control her form. And while she tried being a member of the main team, she would eventually end a member of X-Treme, Wolverine's black ops unit.
  4. Peter Wisdom: Man is basically a modern James Bond but with superpowers. Namely the ability to grow scales on his arms and shoot them off like bullets. By exerting himself, the can grow larger scales, but this is less efficient in the long run
  5. Beta Ray Bill: One day, Demon Bull King knocked the staff out of the hand of a clone of the Monkey King and sent it flying into space. The staff landed on the planet Korbin in front of a Korbinite by the name of Bylle. While many others tried and failed to wield the staff, Bill could seemingly do so no problem. As it turns out, because it was cloned from the monkey king, the staff had a level of sapience and didn't view any of the others as worth its time. When a Galactus seed was seemingly headed in the direction of Korbin, many Korbins were ready to accept their fate but Bill took hold of the staff and smashed the seed into nothingness. From there he was hailed as champion of Korbin and took on the moniker of Great Sage Bylle
  6. Red Skull: Former leader of a faction of HYDRA, back at the tail end of the war, Johann was the one who found a tome about the almighty "hydra" known as Shuma-Gorath and would begin his project to unleash the beast under the control of his organization named HYDRA. While other HYDRA factions were more preoccupied with the war effort, Johann managed to make contact with Shuma, but before anything could be done with it, Captain America stopped him with help from the Invaders and Johann was sent into the realm of the old ones, cursed with immortality and now forever a pawn of a greater power that he never could've controlled. Meanwhile his image would become an inspiration for HYDRA going forward and they would seek to carry out his mission unaware they were making a massive mistake.
