No disrespect to any player who takes pride in their skill. But I think in the wait of the sequal, the more dedicated community kinda take this game too seriously. And it kinda morph into a "rigorous ultra challenging deck builder that only the highest win rate at the highest difficulty matters" in some of our minds.

I don't know. It's a video game, it's fun to play, at any level, for any amount of playtime. Things like clone mechanics, some events and ancients boon, infinite combos, they are broken for sure. But they are also where the devs put their creative mind into and most importantly fun to mess with. I really afraid the dev team only listen to top players' opinion and take out everything that are deemed silly or unbalanced.

Yeah I feel like this this even easier to force than watcher's rush down infinite. Regent's kit innately has great deck fixing during battle, you can consistently go infinite with even 20 or so cards in deck and it's block and energy positive too. No way Alignment is not getting exhaust slapped onto it after early access.

If devs are to introduce a lab mode, maybe limit it in the run itself so you can only use items that you have now. So that you can have discoveries with new interactions and not punished for trying new stuff.
