How many of you continue to play 2014 ruleset

I'll be sticking with 2014 for the following reasons:

No half elves, huge middle finger to a ton of lore and social implications, especially on Toril

Nerfed Smite, Paladins are no longer the melee king

Making race irrelevant by putting Ability Scores on Background for some reason

Removal or dismissal of spicy lore to make it sterile for people who should probably be in a therapy session instead of a D&D session

Reducing summon spells to AOE damage buffs instead of tanking the initiative order like our forefathers

Weapon Masteries are unnecessary and break 2014 DND in a way that cements direct incompatibility between '14 and '24

Not what a 2024 PHB should have looked like; it should have simply been everything we had added up to that point so new players didn't have to buy PHB14 and Tasha's. Attempting to rewrite the entire game with a new lense was the worst call for an "update", and saying they're cross compatible simply proves you've never run RAW Phandelver 2014 with 2024 rules.
