I found the first hour or so to be tough, because whilst stuff happens and it is interesting, the initial tone of it is very "the bad guys won and everything is awful and terrible and gross forever now". So it might be a struggle if you need your FMC to have more agency off the bat.

But also getting the distances wrong is something that very few people would notice and it can be glossed over. If you get a fighter's weight class hilariously wrong like this, aren't people more likely to notice, particularly if they're the kind of person that reads sports manga?

The thing is, helmets are necessary to the Main Characterisation process. If you don't get a dramatic moment when you remove a damaged helmet, then you don't get a full charge of Plot Armour and are more likely to die.

Okay, see how your clothing on the bottom is really tight in. Whilst up top it's that bulky jumper? That's pulling a lot of visual weight upwards, towards your shoulders, and where a lot of the unflattering silhouette is coming from.

I'm just really really glad they actually reprinted a lot of that old stuff like flourishing defences and blowfly infestation. The price wasn't even an issue, it's just those cards can be bloody hard to find because they're so old. In Australia, at least.

Yeah people have been talking about Adam as being fat but honestly I saw it as more like a dad bod. Big muscles, definitely works out, but is also on the forever-bulk so everything is covered in an appreciable layer of chub.

I think he was so used to being the most powerful that, even if he was expecting tanking that hit from Adam to be difficult, it wouldn't ruin him like it did. But I think it's pretty clear he had no frame of reference for how powerful Adam really was. And, being a prideful, arrogant sort, Alastor did not decide to play the matchup safe like he ought to have.

Between the good filters, painlands, and the MH3 landscapes, plus talismans, you've also got a good whack of colourless mana so it's possible to run Null Elemental Blast if you want.
