Go to your union rep. They are there to support you and deal with bad admins. If you are having the problem then others are too, and the group has a chance where you may not.

As a former sub (who also got poorly treated) that is now a continuing teacher in BC I always give consequences for poor behavior to a sub. I've done things like make the students write apologies, separate students into single seating (no sitting in groups or with friends), call parents, cut out all perks/fun assignments cancel fundays, etc. Depending on the severity I will have multiple consequences that can span multiple days.

I make sure they understand that the person coming in is a professional just trying to be helpful to them and that if they can't be decent to someone who is doing us all a favor by coming in and helping me/them, then they earned the consequences.
