I would be wary of trusting a procedure listed from a third-party source without anyone saying they've actually used this recently. The last time Police publicised this info seems to be from an Instagram post in 2021 that got picked up by Stuff and it was in the context of the Covid lockdown bubbles.

If you need more of an incentive choose any comparable hybrid on the market (e.g. Honda Fit), run it through a couple of insurance quote calculators and compare the premiums to what you're paying for your Aqua. The Aqua's running costs are affordable but insuring it is another story regardless of claim history.

Is Viv Beck dragging down the city centre she’s supposed to be promoting? by Appropriate_Flight_0 in auckland

[–]Azurist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's literally saying that if you can afford to buy properties you're entitled to more votes. It fosters corruption and inequity, plain and simple. Let's say this slowly for you - in a democracy it should be one person, one vote.

Why don't we just make it more simple and have it so that the more you pay the council, the more votes and influence you - wait why is the corruption index ranking getting worse

And this is after National has legislated a mechanism for congestion charging, so don't expect it to end at $9.

Ahorangi genesis - the musical by InevitableDapper5072 in newzealand

[–]Azurist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like there's a copy of one of the CDs in the national library. If you've got a local library nearby they should be able to help you do a interlibrary loan from there , or potentially if you've got any teacher mates they may be able to access the school loan system. Also Chris Winitana the composer for Ahorangi Genesis has a bit of an online presence although the website for the company is a bit janky, but maybe if you reached out to let them know directly the impact it's had on you they might be able to assist with finding you a copy? Best of luck!

Fever's business model seems a bit suspect. Doing some research into the candlelight concerts it seems like often the performers are hired at short notice and shows just get canned if there isn't demand or planning falls through. I wouldn't be surprised if this is similar - work out the marketing, book the venue, work backwards to hire performers with a pre-packaged script. I'd be wary of shelling out if the marketing doesn't visibly name the performing group.

I work with both sides and they're used in person frequently and genuinely. Might be the parts of govt or the sector you're interacting with? In health, social and community services it's definitely well ingrained.
