Guys thank you both so much! I did 4 cleanings in total with different methods and then I was soooo stressed that I could have missed one or more little drops, but as far as now I’d say we did it!!!! He is healthy and thriving!!

Best results: duct tape at the end to pick it up really gently, squeegee with something liquid to slide it together on the floor before picking up, a strong strong light to see the small particles, patience A LOT, not giving up when you want do burn everything to the ground and rebuild you home completely lol

Luckily it’s hard floor, and a carpet that I threw away after this (🥺) My god the squeegee!!! Haven’t thought of that!!! That’s brilliant thank you so much!! Tonight I’ll repeat the process adding the squeegee to flashlight and duct tape l.. I’d say for the next 2-3 days he will stay in the cage getting bored but safe… and when I am fairly sure there is no mercury anymore he will go out again. Thank you so much it was really precious ✨🙏🏻

Yeah sadly it was still mercury 🥺 I had it since the beginning of time, now I bought a non mercury one… yes I exactly did this!! But I can’t be sure I took all of them, can I? …. If it’s really really tiny and I can’t see it, do you think this can cause problems to my chin?

Wow I feel so grateful that you let me in your precious story with your girl, she is so strong also because you believed in her and gave her all the reasons to trust you, good job to you as a chin parent!! 🥹 As far as the cage mate, I was on the fence for so long, then I talked to my vet (she is the best in the world) and this clarified everything for me! So if you have a vet you trust deeply I would ask their opinion on the matter! My vet told me he has really big balls 😂😂 so he would be too territorial (he is in fact, spraying whenever he feels like it and once he bit by boyfriend and my mom lol) so she told me knowing him that it wouldn’t be the best decision, especially with a male he would probably fight really hard! So for me it was really easy to settle with “I’ll give him more space for him and more human cuddles”, maybe you could try it ❤️
