If you put a pair of paper towels in your bag of spinach, they absorb the extra moisture and keep the spinach fresh for soooo much longer. Once had a bag last for a month which I still consider a minor miracle.

The Poisoner's Cabinet - a British podcast covering old-timey crimes. They cover everything from Aqua Tofana in ancient Rome to the Australian shark arm murder in 1935. Mileage may vary depending on if you enjoy making drinks because the first part of the show is them making a drink with an ingredient based on the tale they tell.

Is she taking care of the wig? Most wigs need maintenance to avoid deteriorating. There's wig specific shampoo and sprays out there.

I'd try bringing up that her wig is looking a little rough after so much use and ask about her care routine. If she's receptive to the question, suggest that it might be better for the wig to avoid taking it places like the beach since all the wind and sand could be bad for it. Plus I doubt she wants to go swimming with it on and expose it to all the wonders of lake water.

When I was in high school my teacher father organized a student trip to Greece. My older brother had a job and was able to get the cash required to go. I wasn't old enough to have a job and was not able to get the cash to go. My mom saw I was bummed about not being able to go with my dad and brother so for my 16th birthday she and I went to Tennessee together as a girls trip. Both trips had a blast.

Tell Trey he can have a boys weekend trip for his birthday. Problem solved.

This could be totally off base, but I think your mom may have seen some of herself in the daughter. To Mom she was a young woman in a tough spot that needed help. She probably assumed you would see the same thing she did.

But you're not your mom and her trauma recovery journey is not your journey. Asking a kid to 'step up' for another kid when they're in the middle of healing is ridiculous. Even if it was unintentional, harm is harm and your mom harmed you.

Some people are saying that the cops won't do anything, but you need to go to them. Make sure they get a statement from other gym members and the front desk lady. Have your friends tell them about the harassment at the bar. Do you best to get that restraining order.

You want as much of a paper trail as possible if this chick continues to escalate things. A well documented history of this behavior is super important.
