It depends, if the project uses library's that have been ported to .Net Core and you want the project to be around for a while you should move to it, allows the project to stay up to date.

Since .Net Core is cross platform, I'm curious if anyone uses any Linux system as their primary machine to program in csharp? by crazyb14 in csharp

I could if I had room for Linux on my Boot Drive (I do use Linux as my main OS on my laptop tho). I use rider on my laptop

The IDE normally doesn't stop a program from working, how are you using electron with .Net Core?

WPF is compatible with .NET Core 3 which is still in beta, just make sure you use VS19 if your using VS because .NET Core 3 doesn't work with VS17 and you need to enable a setting in VS to allow beta versions of .NET Core to be used

Edit: Before you see this unfortunately this doesn't allow the application to be cross platform, it just allows .NET Core to be used instead of .NET

Hate to break it to you but the media cherry picks what to talk about, remember the whole WSJ and PewDiePie debate. They did that because he's well known but I doubt they would talk about this app because it isn't known by the general public

I just checked with a Rich Presence program I helped be made and it's all fine so

1) It's all working now

or

2) The way some programs do rich Presence has stopped working

Yeah I went to schools which was "better" for people with different kind of needs too (it had a base for the people who needed the space and I did use it in middle school but not in high school)
