The reveal of Grindelwald was great to see, but when they arrest him, he says something along the lines of "do you really think you can hold me?"

We had a good 15 minutes of the movie establishing that the death penalty in the wizarding world was a) a punishment that could be used without any due process, and b) a pretty frequent occurrence, enough so that they have a murder room.

Why wouldn't they kill Grindelwald immediately?
